Also, another 220mm added to the arena fund by "future tax dollars" or some proposed inflation thing, idk... but I'll take it and gladly pay.
Assuming the state money is approved and there won't be a big fight over it, that puts us around $450-$500 million already committed towards a new arena between the state, the new owners, and Herb Kohl.

I imagine they can still sell naming rights, and maybe Marquette or the Admirals would need to kick something in too? Hopefully this gets approved soon.

A lottery pick might be better for the long-term but that's just not going to happen, so now I'm just going to enjoy the ride and also enjoy going to some playoff games. A series win would be nice but not expecting it.

Bump for 5 game win streak!!!

Also, the rest of February is pure gold!

@Houston
Boston
Brooklyn
Sacramento
Denver
Atlanta
@Chicago
Philadelphia
@LAL
@Utah

All star break in the middle too.

Huge game there vs Chicago. Say we lose that and win vs the worse records we go 7-3. We would be 34-25 to end the month! Definitely in pursuit of higher seeding at that point.

We do have a few back to backs and such, but even if we go 5-5, I am certainly happy with us being 32-27.

Ecstatic! Let the good times keep rolling. Hell, we may even strike a good matchup and win a playoff series!

Yeah, we actually have a shot at the 4 or 5 seed (maybe even the 3 but I can't see that happening) which a little over a week ago I would have said was completely out of reach. I'm still not saying it is likely but if we keep playing the good teams well (and not lose too many to the bad ones like we almost did against the lakers) there is plenty of time of left. The 6th seed looks to be our absolute floor and I'm getting more confident we can at least have a competitive series against our likely opponents, there is definitely a chance at a series win.

Other teams seem to be falling apart as we become more comfortable. At this point I think

1) Atl
2) Cle

Seem like locks. Everything else is open.

Well, we finally rid ourselves of the basketball equivalent of a cancer. Larry Sanders was, is, and always will be, a ****ing clown.

If for no other reason than I love the fact that they weren't going to settle with Knight.

Amazing what a difference a year makes.

Pretty surprised to see that everyone hates the move for the Bucks. Maybe us Bucks fans are not giving BK the love he deserves? People seem to think he is a borderline top 5 PG which seems insane. I think the front office knew that they didn't want to pay BK as much as the market was going to offer him ($10M-$12M) and they got 2 young PGs and a serviceable big man that they desperately needed. I think people aren't giving MCW a high enough upside. I think Kidd is the perfect coach for him and hopefully they can develop a shot on MCW. Now with Sanders gone and BK contract not looming are they can sign Middleton and maybe another mid-level free agent. I like they future for the Bucks.

Knight is good but he wasn't the future of this team and I don't think his style of play was going to fit in long-term here. I haven't paid much/any attention to MCW this season but I think he has a much greater chance of fitting the future mold of this team than Knight ever did (I say this largely because of the faith I have in Kidd at this point).

Yeah I wish Sanders the best. He would have been a great center for this team. Just imagine a starting lineup of...

MCW
Middleton
Giannis
Jabari
Sanders

That would have been fun. I think if you plug in Henson the length will still be insane and they are going to great some great matchups. Their defense is going to be nasty for awhile.

bucks were tied for the 5th spot before the game vs the lakers. the wizards are falling fast, the bucks need to beat teams like the lakers to have any hope for the 5th seed.

as bucks fans what do you think is the better matchup for the bucks... playing the bulls (without rose) or the raptors in the 1st round?

How has Ennis looked so far?

I'd guess raptors. Bulls can still d up, and without knight, our scoring offense took a hit. Although I haven't really seen much, if any, raptors games this year, so Idk...

i'm not sold on the raptors being that good, but then again the bucks aren't that good either

Ennis has been so-so imo. Slightly worse than a backup PG. Hard to expect much coming in now like he did though.

For the Bucks I'd rather play the Raptors. Chicago is too big inside for us to handle.

My head said all year long that the Bucks wouldn't win a playoffs series by my heart was really thinking they could get lucky against Toronto or maybe beat a depleted Bulls squad, but I don't see either of those scenarios occurring. The Bucks are sliding fast and they may drop to the 7th seed which means they would play Cleveland which would almost be a guaranteed sweep. I hope Jabari comes back next year and I hope Kidd mentors MCW this off-season and hopefully develops a jump shot. I think the Bucks desperately need a scoring guard who can come off the bench and give you a spark and they need a big man that can score (I know that is hard to find though).

I would really love it if the Bucks signed Wes Matthews. He just tore his achilles so they could get him for cheap for maybe a 2 year deal of something. I hope they find a veteran big man who can help develop Henson and Plumlee.

IDK who they are going to target in the draft but I think best player available is always a good strategy in the middle-late first round.

Looks like we will get around 17th or so pick in the draft. What do we need?

I think we need bigs personally. Would be so sick to get WCS but he should be around 10th pick or so
