How does it work with the teams we tied for with the 8th worst record? Do we each get an equal number of balls in the lottery or is there a tiebreaker between each of the teams first for seeding?

I read somewhere we lost the tiebreakers and would be 10th.

Sup guys!!! Warriors going to take it in 5 games tonight so brain is on the draft!

We have the 10th pick and personally I'd LOVE to move up to around 6th~ pick to grab Hield or Murray. Both are good sized combo guards that shoot LIGHTS OUT. Exactly what we need with Giannis being on-ball more.

Who else do you guys like? Top options at 10th pick?

It's not over yet!

Hield would be sweet, and a fit, but I'll bet they go for a big. I keep seeing some white dude from unlv/utah/that region or Thon Maker. Ellerslie, from Marquette maybe?

I'll bet a trade happens though.

I want the Bucks to draft a guard that can shoot. Combo guard is perfect alongside Giannis

You're thinking poetl and he's real bad defender. Don't want him

Kidd extended 3 years.

Bucks draft:
10th pick Thon Maker
36th pick Malcolm Brogdon
38th pick sold for $2.4m

Bucks look like:
MCW/Ennis
Middleton/Vaughn/Brogdon
Giannis
Parker
Monroe/Henson/Maker

Plumlee is RFA, Inglis and JOB are non guarenteed right now. Honestly, at this point I'm fine with letting them all walk. Most of our bigs can play center Like plumlee and plumlee has the least upside. JOB could maybe Be a backup pf just not sure how realistic that is.

Brogdon/Vaughn can both play both wing spots I think of add depth there. I think we will try to add a veteran there to play some quality minutes.

We also need a better PG. It sounds like Kidd still like mcw but he NEEDS to be better at on-ball defense. Players got past him last year which got Monroe into trouble because he's slow and not long enough to recover quickly.

With all this we have 10 guys set JOB and Inglis may come back cheap but I doubt they play so that's 12. I expect we sign at least 2 veteran free agents to take some minutes. We can really use help anywhere.

Trading Monroe or mcw would be sweet but we need a free agent to take their spot as there is no good backup plan.

Moving mcw may be more possible and let Vaughn or brogdon work to guard the opposing PG but I doubt either are ready to be a starter. I have high hopes for brogdon.

Waived JOB and Inglis. QO to Plumlee so he's restricted and likely staying.

We definitely need another guard that can guard opposing PGs. I'd say we need another shooting big man for better small ball lineups. Then really just more rotation wings and we look solid.

Monroe sounds like he is still likely to move (I'd say 50/50...my gut says more like 25% hes traded).

Would be really awesome if Vaughn and/or Brogdon can be positive nba players this year.

Oh man. We are getting what I've wished for.

Mirza for shooting big man
Delly for on ball defense 3+d pg

Now just round out the wing rotation. Interested if we move Monroe or mcw still.

Yeah but expensive! Not sure it's good move making...

By % of cap these moves would b e like 7m and 6m last year. Pretty fine imo

Yeah I get the whole cap thing going up and % of it, but it's still 10mm a year. Delly sucks ass. Mirza I know has been around.

Plumlee played quite well with Giannis, Parker, and Mids. I'm totally fine with him being back, as he had good on-court chemistry with the core guys. His contract is a heck of an overpay, though.

So half our salary cap is being used on big men who somehow still get no adequate playing time. Lol us. Just trade away 2/3 of them already!

Kidd has us playing pretty competitively. That spurs loss was a heart breaker. But, good teams close those games out.

Our max is an 8th seed probably, but man is Giannis tearing it up! Jabari crushing too. I still hate our big men and rotations with that, but everyone else is doing their part to perfection.

Proud of this team so far!

Sup guys!

Draft in like 4 days , June 22nd.

We have the 17th pick and some random 2nd round pick. Personally with 2nd round pick I say we stash it, or draft a Brogdon-esque guy, like Dillon Brooks (3 + D wing), or that Hart PG from Nova.

17th pick, I'm seeing lots of projections that we go for a big but seems like all the bigs around that slot can't shoot, like at all.

Allen from Texas or that Creighton guy seem solid but hard to expect much out of them. What position should we target in the draft?

Also, Greg Monroe's decision on this 17M~+ player option is the same day as the draft, I'm praying regardless if he stays or goes he's cooperative to let the staff know his decision as we will have a huge minutes-hole to fill if he's gone. If Maker is ready to take over his 25~30 min's per game that would be sick and I'm cool that he bounces and opens up our books, and then draft a big...

but if he stays, well then there really won't be big minutes this year with him + Maker, so opens ourself up to draft anything, BPA for sure.

For the record, I think Hawes 6M player option, decision due like June 30th. Hoping he declines ofc since he won't play and opens up our salary. I would think he declines and tries to get a deal elsewhere, but maybe he won't and just wants to cash out.

Alright so, we basically have a full roster and no cap space so we may just stand pat but rumors are we are connected to come FA's (Derrick Rose) and that we are trying to move salary (Monroe, Henson, Telly, Delly, Hawes would be most likely). Stretching somebody (Hawes) could work to open up a few mil but not as good of a way to create space as moving someone.

I'm praying we really aren't interested in Rose and the cap stuff is always talked about so I don't expect much going on unless we finally get a salary dump offer we like that would free up cap space to sign somebody and open up a roster spot.

15 roster spots + 2 two-way contracts, currently (no order):
1. Giannis
2. Jabari
3. Middleton
4. Monroe (Opted into player option)
5. Maker
6. Snell (RFA - resigned to 4/44mil gtd, can increase to 46m~)
7. Teletovic
8. Brogdon
9. Dellevadova
10. Henson
11. Hawes (Opted into player option)
12. Vaughn
13. Gary Payton II (Non-guarenteed. He could be waived if we sign somebody - but doing so we would certainly be over lux tax - GP is cheaper).
14. DJ Wilson
15. Sterling Brown

Two way:
16. Koening
17. ? Not sure we have this spot locked in yet.

Basically we are stuck where we are. We can open up a roster spot easy by waiving GP but generally I think he has tons of upside for a 3rd PG, and could be molded into a backup if we plan to move Delly. Even if we waive him, signing anybody at that point brings us into the lux tax so unlikely to happen unless other moves happen too.

Hope we move Henson. Long contract and most useless of our dead weight imo.
