Any truth to the rumor that the Bucks are going to give Dwayne Wade an offer? That would be interesting...

Ha. Haven't heard that one. Depending on amount, it wouldn't hurt I suppose in theory? Would bring more exposure and fans to the arena.

It isn't a real sound rumor but I have heard the Bucks are in play to offer him a contract. I don't think he leaves Miami though. He is worth $10M-$12M in Miami because of longevity but he is maybe worth $6M-$8M to every other team.

Wade would be awful for the Bucks.

He is a win now wing, we have plenty of wings developing

Rumors are WCS could drop, I think the Bucks would take him at 17.

Wasn't really aware of Vaughn prior to the draft but I really like the pick, they needed a scorer and they got one.

Wow totally missed the trade....

Bucks got Greivis Vasquez for the 46th pick and the Clippers 2017 first round pick...

Interesting...

Never heard of their pick. Oh well, time will tell...

Overpay for Vasquez but didn't lose any major assets. Clips pick likely 25+.

What sucks is basically that means we have no chance to max a free agent so after maxing Middleton we won't do much else, unless trades

Well they needed perimeter scoring and they got that with Vaughn and Vasquez, overall I think it was a good night.

I know I am in the minority but I still prefer to let Middleton walk...

I am 99% sure they will sign him, but I really hope they don't overpay. I would like to sign him in the $10M range. I fear that they will give him around $15M...

Some guys I would like the Bucks to try and sign...

DeMarre Carroll*
Aminu
Luol Deng
Afflalo
Wes Matthews*
Danny Green*

*I would rather have these guys over Middleton

^ we are not going after those guys.

We have:

MCW/Vasquez/Bayless/Ennis
Middleton/Mayo/Vaughn
Giannis/Dudley*/Inglis
Parker/Henson
Zaza/Plumlee

I believe that's 14 under contract, Dudley being a player option.

We also have O'Bryant, Gutierrez, Shawne Williams, Caron Butler with non-guaranteed contracts.

I believe even with cutting those 4 we have about $16mil cap space (including Middleton's cap hold).

Gotta think Ennis/Vaughn/Inglis will likely see a lot of time in the d-league. Or I think we will do a good amount of trading.

But we desperately need better bigs. Small ball is fine and all but Zaza is not a long term option and Giannis can't guard true-offensive centers.

I hope we throw offers at guys like:
Kosta Koufus
Ed Davis
Jordan Hill
Bismack Biyombo
Omer Asik
Cole Aldrich
Brandan Wright
Robin Lopez

Not in any order, very few of those guys would be reputable starters but we are going to have to get creative and likely overpay anyways.

Also Mayo/Bayless/Pachulia/Dudley (if he stays)/Butler (if he's guarenteed) will all be unrestricted free agents next year, so those are all guys that are likely to be moved at some point before the deadline IMO.

Everyone said he would have gone higher but his knee injury at the end of the year scared teams away. I like the pick for the Bucks, hopefully it works out.

I wish they would have shipped Zaza out the door right behind Ersan.

I guess the Bucks have a better chance of getting Tyson Chandler then I had previously thought. I forget he played with Jason Kidd in New York and Dallas and apparently Kidd and Chandler have the same agent. I would absolutely love that signing if the Bucks could get it done.

I think it's very likely. Kidds agent is a huge factor.

Honestly if we add Tyson and he can play 25-30mpg and stay healthy we are gonna be solid
