Season starts tonight! Madison Square Garden. Who ya got? What are your realistic predictions for the Bucks this year? Since they are perpetually hamstrung by an owner who refuses to rebuild and pay for a new arena, .500 seems to be shooting for the stars here. I'm thinking 32-50 and they trade Illy and Butler at the deadline for draft picks. Which in turn, will give them a slight chance to move up in the draft with their gluttony of picks. I close with this:

Sandersssss for DPOY

Giannisssss for ROY

Butler is a weird one. Ending contrwct perfect to trade but hes from Racine and probably wants to stay here. Best case is he stays snd sign a cheap contract next year and comes off the bench.

Bold prediction is that Khris Middleton comes into his own this year making Ilyasova quite expendable. I hope we trade ersan but if we do we will get low value since he probably will start slow again after his injury.

Sanders all star would be sick. Giannis won't get minutes to be roy or even close. I just hope he doesn't go the same path of tobias

Giannis won't get minutes early on. If they're out of it by the All Star break, I can see him getting 15-20 mpg. He really does remind me of a young Durantula. I like Butler here, and the people of Racine love him, but I'm just being realistic.

I'm adopting the Deer this year. Mainly for the Sanders!!!! and occasional Giannis!!!! Hoping for a little bit of Henson! too.

Welcome aboard! Should be a fun and wild ride, mixed with a lot of frustration.

Are we sure Giannis won't be getting minutes? He doesn't look like a fish out of water out there or anything. Saw an interview with the GM in which he suggested that GA is ready to get his feet wet "now".

Didn't love the Knight pick-up. Ultimately think he'll end up as a combo sixth man, and it probably won't be with the Deer given the way these things go (Lou Williams, Jamal Crawford, Eric Bledsoe, Ben Gordon....not-quite-point-guards always seem to move around a lot). But I guess it was worth a shot. I just would've preferred to see a passing PG on a team with a few high-flying lane-fillers.

Mayo......meh.

Now Ersan I think would make a great stretch four for a contender who winds up needing one.....maybe Houston, possibly Indy off the bench if they don't take to Scola's game, even SAS and OKC could use that kind of guy in their front court rotation.

I agree on Ersan. If Giannis plays a lot though, that means a trade happened or something went wrong....

Getting killed at halftime now. I work second shift, but trying to keep up with the game. Bucks just missing shots... typical.

Hopefully we finish bad enough to actually get a decent draft pick this year, sick of being the mediocre 8 seed.

I went to elementary school with Wolters. Will be tuning in often if he continues to get playtime. GL this season.

Knight and ridnour out so Wolters is likely gonna see plenty of action and start.

Sanders needs to stay on the floor. I didnt watch much of the game but amazed henson didnt get more time with sanders foul trouble. Pachulias contract I guess makes more sense if hes gonna play huge minutes to help us become playoff bound.

Looks like Mayo is our go to scorer now he just needs to hit the shots.

Agreed on all. Sanders needs to stop picking up careless fouls. Didn't see or hear what the injuries were/are. Idk what's worse on opening night: getting blown out by 20 or coming all the way back to fall apart AGAIN in the last few minutes. Boston here we come!

Falling behind early again... to the Celtics! Who are trying to lose this year! Would be nice if they shot at least 40%. Forget shooting 50%. The Bucks... they never beat the teams they should...

Gaga over Zaza! Bench came up big. Why did Sanders get so few minutes? I'll check on the postgame stuff when I get home.

Nice win tonight but wasn't able to watch the game. Hopefully this team surprises me. It seems like every game, even when they win, they have at least one terrible quarter, will obviously need to eliminate those.

That was ridiculous.

Crunch time comeback our lineup was mostly: Wolters, Middleton, Giannis, Henson, Pachulia.

When it was real crunch time the only switch was Butler for Giannis. All 4 other starters on the bench.

It seems like when we must, LD just says we are going to run the offense and zone-ish defense and these are the guys that can do it. OJ/Larry etc will be given the chance in the first half to prove they can out play the other team- if they can't then LD will take over.

I kind of like it, but I mean guys like OJ must be fuming. Gotta be good for the young guys though.
WOLTERS I will say looked really damn good, hes very confident with the ball in his hands. He was a scorer in college so I think that will come with time as well. He and Zaza ran the offense so well, it was quite awesome.

Wolters has impressed me so far. Reminds me of a younger Ridnour actually. The opener was about two thirds full and I left with as many free t-shirts as I could. I hope the Bucks start jelling, figure out a rotation and hit some shots. Only the first week, but they could easily be 0-3 and have not looked good. My fears of them moving to Seattle creep in the more I watch this team.

This game had more people than the home opener. Left with a ton of cool giveaways yet again. Everyone booed Monta whenever he touched the ball. Of course, Mayo dominates as half the team is hurt/did not play. Could have had this one.
