hey Brewers fans wtf with this jackoff Ken Macha?

Anyone see the Dodgers game tonight? Weeks clearly had that base stealer tagged out while Macha just stands there in the dugout like a dunce after the blown call by the ump.

I suspect Macha's KKK in offseason.....

Yeah I thought the same. I never really liked Macha (although he is a little better than Yost). He doesn't really have much fire in him, can't manage a bullpen, and just seems like one of the least inspiring people to work for. Could be worse. Trey Hillman missed the fact that a runner forgot to TAG UP and as a result he got to 2nd instead of being out; Royals lose pretty much as a direct result. At least Macha seems to know most the rules...

I just came across this thread and thought, "first place? I think not!"

Then I realized it was from last year

Moved to Vegas 7 years ago, but played in the Brewers farm system for a few years, and they'll always be my team.

At least our losing streak is over as of today!

Someday someone on this forum needs to do a "Ask me about being a minor league baseball player" thread.

QFMFT. There is not a single argument for not doing this. Not one. Cappy was a good starter who got injured. Suppan is done. Cooked. They don't even put him in unless the team is down 7+. I'm they don't do this I don't know what my motivation for following the team will be anymore.

i guess they are going to cut vargas from what ive heard.

regardless if they somehow screw this up and capuano gets let go...i will major lol because i wont know what else to do with my anger towards this terrible front office.

the only thing i can hope for now is at the end of the year they fire macha and melvin (firestorm to purify) and get a gm that doesnt have his head entirely up his ass.

Milwaukee, WI - Despite a wide-open National League wild card race, the Milwaukee Brewers decided to become sellers as the trade deadline approaches, shipping bona fide slugger Carlos Lee and minor league outfielder Nelson Cruz to the Texas Rangers for relief pitcher Francisco Cordero, outfielders Kevin Mench and Laynce Nix and minor league pitcher Julian Cordero.

I can't believe the Cardinals signed him.... how does a contender even have room for someone like Suppan?

i guess they have some pitching injury issues and said they reviewed tape and found something wrong with his mechanics that they think they can fix. i dont doubt them, whoever is the cards pitching coach does an awesome job.

oh noooo he might come to miller park to pitch against us...it'll be the favre thing all over again.

Really glad they finally did it, but I don't know if it helps matters at all. Frees space for Cappy I guess (who has not looked good)

doesnt matter who it makes space for, its better than having a dead roster spot.

good luck to him, i hope he goes to st louis and pitches awesome. then maybe attanasio will see how poorly this team is managed and we can firestorm the whole front office all the way down to the pitching coach.

That would be great, I really liked the idea of hiring Rick Peterson, but it looks like he took a bad pitching staff and made them worse. I can see Wolf, Bush, and Parra all posting up 4.00-4.50 ERAs with the right coach....not great but we really don't need great, just an okay pitching staff would do wonders for this team. I dig the dude's perfectly square head and the way he always puts his hand on the pitcher's shoulder like he's 8 years old or something, but come on, Castro got fired when the staff was just 'bad' instead of 'god awful'. Do something!

Hey guys got room for one more?

I was born in Hartford, WI and I have family that still lives in Green Bay. My Dad's first date with my Mom was at a Brewers game and his favorite baseball player was Robin Yount. I've always loved the old school Brewers logo. I have a man crush on Ryan Braun and Yovani Gallardo.

After today's bull**** with the Rangers I'm done with them. Looking to go back to my roots.

Ok so I need an update on the state of affairs. Here's what I know, we've got concerns about Prince Fielder next year. Major Cliff Lee like concerns or is there reasonable hope he'll resign? Obv, I'm familiar with Doug Melvin and believe he has an adequate baseball mind and can hopefully drive this bus in the right direction. I know Ryan Braun trashed him pretty hard last year for not orchestrating more pitching. So how are things overall? Corey Hart is on his way out, which seems fine seeing as he's having a career year. Anything else I'm missing besides the Trevor Hoffman upcoming retirement?
