Really want to buy into the preseason hype but road schedule is brutal. Of course, a running game combined with the defense could make me buy in quick

This is still the easiest schedule Michigan's had in years. And MSU and Ohio State wont be nearly as good as last year. The schedule is one of the reasons to be excited not concerned.

There was a clip of the 1986 Hawaii game mentioned on mgoblog via edsbs. It's really an interesting watch. Harbaugh at QB. Bo running a lot of wishbone. The OL is laughably bad at pass blocking but geez it looks like they get a running start at run blocking and they just maul the DL.

Bob Perryman was one badass FB.

Edit: the TV production itself is LOL

I've been watching updates on twitter throughout the day. Any hint of football in June is awesome to me.

Some details so far:

-Kirby Smart showed up late. Harbaugh was 15 minutes early and took control from the beginning. Smart was reportedly on his phone the majority of the time, while Harbaugh coached. Smart left an hour before the camp ended to get to Athens for a Georgia camp. Pretty sure he was mostly there to observe. Left via helicopter. Can you imagine the outrage and FOIA requests if Harbaugh flew from Ann Arbor to Detroit by a private chopper?

-Harbaugh wore a Hank Aaron jersey. Could be a trend, considering he wore a Colts jersey yesterday. He met Aaron earlier in the day, and Hank showed up to the camp later and addressed the campers.* Short video embeded below. We have a new Michigan fan.

-Narduzzi was at the camp. He's either spying for D'Antoni or he's smart enough to learn from one of the greats.* Either way, the disrespect is strong.

-Came across a few short periscopes if anyone is interested to see a peak of what goes on during these camps. (Warning-vertical filming, try not to gouge your eyes out)

Anyone else have any info? I'm sure we will get more details as more articles get written.

TL;DR = Our coach is better than yours.

Been doing this 25 years -- have never seen a coach play to the crowd as well as #Michigan's Jim Harbaugh https://t.co/0pA95CPU0B

"Kirby Smart made a big splash when he choppered onto the baseball field at Atlanta’s Maynard Jackson High School in his now-well-known yellow helicopter so he could attend the first satellite football camp in the history of the state of Georgia on Thursday. But make no mistake about it, it was Jim Harbaugh’s and Michigan’s show."

http://www.wsbtv.com/sports/big-name...camp/318710456

Speaking with members of the media after the camp, Harbaugh didn’t back down from a tweet he sent directed at Alabama coach Nick Saban earlier this week.

“The issue was what I said it was. Somebody that had just recently broken the rules and has that in their history is lecturing us coaches -- us other coaches -- about potentially violating rules,” Harbaugh told Channel 2’s Anthony Amey. “I just thought it was hypocritical. I thought it was a hypocritical act.”

hahahahahaha

Harbaugh will continue to cram in dozens more camps into his schedule over the next few weeks, even going as far as Australia (That's no typo, mate).

Can Harbaugh handle it?*

"Survival of the fittest! I'm not going to be the first coach to go down."*

Corey Malone Hatcher committed to you guys today (Composite 4 star 2017 DE, lots of elite offers). Really nice pickup.

Yeah, solid get. Lots of big time offers.

Read that he said he had been to ND 17 times -- no surprise given how close St Joe is to South Bend, but that is still a ton.

Thought we had a chance, but 247 Crystal Ball was 100% you guys so my hopes weren't too high. If we get Robert Beal back on board, we'll be just fine at DE.

Harbaugh? He ran obscure drills for the quarterbacks and demonstrated each one himself first. He introduced the wide receivers who ran the fastest to the crowd with a flourish. He even ended the night with an impromptu handshake drill, teaching the teenagers the proper way to greet him with a firm grip and a pat on the shoulder.

"A PAT ON THE SHOULDER!" he yelled when one unsuspecting camper failed to, uh, pat appropriately.

If that DT is really 305, he looks like a pretty well put together 305. I see 247 had him at 40% GA, 30% Bama, 10% Michigan. Very nice.

Should you thank Alabama for Harbaww? What would momentum have been like in 2012 with an opening win?
