Wheatley appears to be quite a recruiter, so it's too bad to lose him. But not a huge surprise, it was going to be hard for him to move up at Michigan.

If Nico goes to UGA, so be it. There are some rumblings of shenanigans at UGA, we'll see if anything comes out.

Really hoping we land Oliver Miller. Dude showed out at the Opening. I'd almost prefer him over Nico if push came to shove. We already got a couple tall burners who can hopefully stretch the field. Pure speculation on McDOOM at this point. A slot weapon is needed. Not putting my money on Perry.

Meh his sickness his HS senior year is tough to overcome.

The treatment he got from Fred Flintstone and Co re: Concussions was awful and he for sure deserved better on that front.

I just don't think his body ever recovered from losing 20 lb from an illness at 17 years old. That's something that takes multiple years to recover from and he just never could.

It would have been nice if he'd had better coaching early in his career, sure, and the concussion incident was awful. Other than that, not really. Got a Michigan degree, got in some game action despite being 3rd string. Fact of the matter is he just wasn't good enough in areas of the game not labeled "arm strength".

Unfortunate to see Kai-Leon Herbert decommit but it's been obvious for months that it was coming.

There are going to be some weird guys that pop up the next week or two, probably some generic 3* types. Since it's OL and recruiting OL is a crapshoot for the most part anyway, shrug.jpg.

There's no reason for him to be 'processed' unless the staff just got tired of his leanings. I doubt the staff uses all their ships this year and they need as many OL bodies as possible.

Harbaugh text to him a week after his game is strange, not sure what happened there.

He feels he was lied to though? Because a position coach takes a better job a month before signing day? Uh OK. Or Drevno tells him he will take a HC job if the right one comes along? Isn't that the definition of being up front and honest?

He was trending to UF for like 2-3 months, probably wants to give himself a reason to decommit after he had had that commitment video.

this is some straight up #HatScience but jay harbs just started following a bunch of running back-centric accounts on social media - taking this to mean Frey to OL, Jay to RB, additional coach when staffs expand later this year probably takes RB full time

if this is indeed happening, very smart to get Frey in before spring practice

BRIAN has been a bit less... good... imo in the last year but he's ABSOLUTELY right about the hypocrisy of certain journalists supporting the Frey hire or at least saying little to nothing about it after Frey was such a big part of their campaign against RichRod.
