This is great news imo. Shows that we're going to have a tough disciplined squad. You dont break the league giveaway record by being lazy.

Moving to Miami Thursday the 20th of August...Can't wait for the Phins this year to hopefully keep the Pats out of another playoff (I know Brady is back Obv but still). Ronnie Brown is one of the better RBs in the league and we have really only seen him under good management once in his career. Chad Pennington is coming off an MVP runner up performance and will only improve with a better WR core. Pat White is ridiculously talented and his immediate impact is being seriously underrated imo. The guy won 4 bowl games in college and his speed shadowed his better then average arm strength and accuracy. Drafting two CB's in the first 3 rounds is obviously a good thing after considering the fact the Dolphins weakest link last year was their secondary. They have 14 CBs in training camp. Jake Long is a monster and probably on the uprise of best offensive lineman category in the league. Ted Ginn will improve along with Camarillo returning after mid season injury. Fasano is solid and the defensive line and linebackers speak for themselves after last years performance. Hardest schedule is a little worrysome but I'd like to see the list of past superbowl winners and I am sure 90% of them had harder then average schedules. Hopes are high for Phin fans this year, lets bring the Trophy back to Miami after a long long long wait.

Dont have a tailgate, but i'll be there tonight for the preseason opener. Can't wait to see Pat White's debut and the return of the wildcat.

agree with all of that ^^ have tickets for the 2nd game vs carolina...cant remember seat assignments but near 40 yardline 18th row i think. cant wait to see wildcat + pat white.

Here are my notes from the game on Monday.

1.) JT got a great welcome back. Very loud applause from everybody when he got announced.
2.) The new return guy, #87 Chris Williams, looked pretty good. After one "welcome to the NFL" play, where he tried to run east and west to get away from speedy NFL defenders, he looked pretty good.
3.) Pat White looked GREAT. They didnt show any highlights on Sportscenter, and then said that he "struggled", but the truth is, he hit 3 receivers in the hands that dropped the ball for what would have been first downs, and 1 of those got tipped up for an interception. Every time he got out of the pocket to run, he was faster than everybody on the field and looked very good. Granted, he was playing against a 3rd string defense, but nonetheless, i'm happy with his debut in a dolphins uniform.
4.) No wildcat, but i'm sure they'll be bringing this out later in the preseason once they get the roster down a little bit.

Overall a good game. Happy with the outcome and excited for saturday.

I'll have a tailgate set up a couple rows into gate 3 (orange lot). I drive a red Ford F150 and have a green tent.

schedule is tough, but Carolina and TB have regressed a great deal from last year. So that is two easier games. Also Indy has gotten a lot worse, but is still obviously tough.

I think between us and the Pats 8-8 misses the playoffs, 9-7 may take the division and 10-6 obviously wins the division for either team

also the Jets probably have the best overall team in the division, but the worst overall qb in the nfl.

Abortion of a game. Indy's not exactly the team you want to host when you're trying to bounce back either. At least SDC looked awful tonight we might get out of the first stretch 1-2. We beat Indy and 2-1 starts looking very possible

If Dave Wannstedt was still coaching sunday they would have won the game. He would have run ricky until the defense was too tired to stand and then pennington would have picked them apart. Ricky only getting 7 carries in the game was ******ed.

miami played from 2+ scores down the entire second half so that probably had a lot do with it.

to look for a silver lining, everyone of those 4 turnovers gave atlanta great field position and they only managed to score 19 points total, which says a lot about the defense. granted elam missed a couple fg's but that is still really good.

heartbreaker. crazy turnovers hurt in game 1 but honestly this is looking like the same team playing a much harder schedule as opposed to the cupcake from last season.

Anybody blaming pennington for this loss needs to have their head examined. What was the guy supposed to do. The offense scored 23 points w no turnovers (end of game pick doesn't really matter) while eating up 45+ minutes of the clock. The defense didn't cause a turnover while allowing the colts to average 10+ yards per play. That is ****ing awful. It didn't matter who was qb for the dolphins, the colts were going to score more.

Considering that the colts had a 80 yard td drive in 12 seconds and an 80 yard td drive in 32 seconds, the dolphins still would have lost. How hard would it been for them to get in field goal range in 29 seconds with 3 timeouts. Channing crowder is ****ing terrible. joey porter is continuing his streak of being invisible that he started the last couple game last year. **** this defense.
