Sent to AAA to get some work in. He should be up as soon as one of those guys starts 0-3. Hochevar and Bannister >> Ramirez and Ponson.

Davies looking good thru 3 innings. I agree with suzzer. If he has turned the corner and can be a reliable #3 starter, then we may have a chance to win this division. Other key is obv more run production, which we haven't seen yet in chilly Chicago in April.

God I love listening to Frank White. I really hope the Royals not in high def and other team in high def doesn't become a theme this year on DTV.

I remember hearing something about 88 games in a previous game. I think they were talking about HD games and not total tv games, I could easily be wrong here

Soria finishes it ugly, but mostly not his fault. That dude just does not get rattled - great great trait to have in a reliever.

Text sent to my fantasy opponent today:

"You just got Mexicuted ... again!"

I was mocked for taking him when he fell to me in the bottom of the 9th round for "paying for saves." I said no, I'm drafting for awesomeness.

Are relievers not worth much? How many relievers went ahead of him?

sick mexicutioner stat that I will get wrong here. K-rod had like 60 saves last season 21 times w/ no baserunners. Whoever was 2nd in saves last year had 25 times no runners allowed. Mexicutioner did it like 36 times

I can see the royals making the post season this year. If not this year... probably the sometime in the next 3 seasons.

Yeah if Hillman doesn't cost us 5-10 games with tard managing. He already cost us 1.

Papelbon, Nathan, Rivera, and K-Rod went before him.

The thinking was that since bullpens are so volatile, and since there are so many meh closers who might get 30 saves (qualls, francisco, hanrahan, etc), then you shouldn't invest too many quality draft picks in saves.

But I wanted to have one awesome one, and I'm glad he fell to me there!

I wish I was going too. I would love to see the first game with the new bleacher seats. But, man am I scared of our 4 and 5 starters. Hopefully we can break out the bats against the Yanks 4/5 too. Maybe I will go Monday night if that is Zacks' start.

Well, I decided at about 1 yesterday that I was just going to go to the K and get a ticket. Scalping was plentiful, upper deckers were going for 60-70. I luckboxed a SRO for face lol.

I love the new K. Outfield seating is awesome. The SRO gave me a prime look into Royals pen and a nice view over the right fielders head. These bleachers and SROs give the place a nice feel. The hall of fame looks like it should kick ass, I didn't make my way over there. The concourse/office additions on the outside look really nice, but they kind of contrast the old 70s concrete. Wish I had some pics, sorry I don't have a digital cam. I'm looking to go out there a lot this summer assuming we actually start hitting the damn ball.

that slow curve is nasty. I read somewhere the other day he got it from Greinke. 3-3 against white sox and yankees isn't too shaby!

Soria's curve is so sick. We made that a little bit scary, but got the win. Grienke goes to 2-0 with 0.00 ERA and the the Royals are back in first place. Mike Jacobs, welcome to the team.
