I need to find a video of watts td, sounds awesome. Isn't that a td 2 weeks running for a defensive lineman? That has to be a first

Watt another super game but he is the only one playing at a high level, what do you think about deandre giving up on that last play?

all i saw was a team get down 24-0 to one of the best teams in the league and then almost come back.

the texans are a competitive team at least!

thanks for thinking of me guys!

That was weaksauce not jumping on the fumble imo.

Watt is just incredible. Only other defensive player I've seen in my lifetime that can dominate a game like that was Lawrence Taylor.

Texans could be very good next year with a little luck.

yeah until we get a QB there's really not much going on.

#freeryanmallett

like we know what we're gonna get from fitzpatrick, he's not just gonna all of a sudden gonna figure it out.

let's see what mallett's got.

I have to tell you Mallett looked bad in pretty much every opportunity he got in New England, even when he got reps with the 1st team offense in the preseason. I would be surprised if he's your answer, but they might as well find out. Did he sign an extension or is he a FA after this season?

Call me crazy but with clowney back I think the Texans beat the browns

No Foster means bad news. Unless Mallet has some godlike performance, which he won't. And Clowney being "back" I think means they will use him in limited capacity cycling him in with Mercilus and Reed. It's not like he's expected to be some game changer. With Watt already playing I think Hoyer's gameplan is going to be get rid of the ball quickly.

This team still has no tight end to speak of. With Foster out that means there is effectively no "safety valve" for the newb Mallet. Gonna be chucking (forcing) to Andre and DeAndre all day. I'd expect Haden to have an interception.

Like with any QB making his first start, expect the Browns to blitz early and often, to see how Mallet handles it. Then adjust accordingly.

Mallet looked good. Better than I expected. He definitely has a cannon. Accuracy not spectacular on deep or some intermediate balls but it's also not going to be 34 degrees every game. He seemed to step up in the pocket nicely and didn't panic. He was able to run a quicker offense than Fitz and DEFINITELY Schaub. They ran ran ran the ball. I would have liked to see him get more passing reps though I can't fault them too much for continuing to run since it worked well and they were trying to run clock.

The O-line absolutely dominated today. I say he didn't panic but I really can't even recall him being under much pressure at all. We'll have to wait and see how he handles jailhouse blitzes and ****. And games where his backup running back isn't able to run for like 5 yards every play.

Defense was spectacular today. Cushing finally looked like his old self for a few plays. Clowney looked bad and got locked up by a tight end 1 on 1 which quite honestly is ****ing embarassing. And he should feel bad.

Outside Watt's braindead roughing penalty on a 4th and 28 punt they just might have ended up with a goose egg.
