I dont care what the score is as long as our number is higher, but I must have been watching different games than you if you think giving up just one score (on the road) is within the realm of possibility. If the offense doesnt push 30 in a game then we aren't winning, and sometimes that won't be enough.
Yes, but some wins give you more confidence about the rest of your season than others. A bad win is certainly better than a good looking loss though. The self-inflicted wounds need to stop soon.
Also wanted to apologize to GT fans for excessive trolling last year. You guys were pretty insufferable, but definitely is nice to see you guys being more reasonable after being brought down to earth. Also, the Michigan homers are 10x worse than you ever were with their overconfidence and lack of reality. At least last year, you had a pretty good season.
I was at a wedding last night so I didn't get to watch any of the game.
Instead, every guy there spent 9:45-10pm huddled at a table refreshing whoever's phone hadn't died yet to see updates of the GT and UGA games (wedding was for two Georgia people, probably 80/20 UGA/Tech fans there). Awful way to keep up with the result, and I haven't seen any highlights but I'm not sure I want to.
Also, please, for the love of God, don't get married during football season or your reception will turn into the above scene.

This is one of the greatest posts ive ever read on 2p2. I had a friend who got married in September like 2 yrs ago and like half the people he invited actually showed up. His wife is from Buffalo and his attempts to explain why you dont get married in the fall fell on deaf ears.
My dad got remarried the night of the UGA/Tenn 'hobnail boot' game. Most of his friends and I were watching the game in an upstairs room and when Haynes caught the ball it was pretty ****ing crazy.
Assuming the doctor doesn't tell me on Friday that I need to have my appendix out immediately I'll be there.
Also, apparently Quentin Sims is unhappy with his role on the team. A now deleted facebook post said:
"Quentin Sims: how would you feel if you got a great job offer from a smaller company. but before you signed your contract you got a job offer from a much larger company so you signed your life away to the larger company for 4 years and then they made you work as a janitor!!?"
Hey, Quentin, how would you feel if you gave a guy a 5 year scholarship and it turned out he's not even good enough to get playing time over Stephen Hill or Tyler Melton?
