If they re-sign Jenkins, TT doesn't need to draft a DL. If he does, Green or Wilson will probably get cut. I like the guys we have on the DL already. If both Jolly and Jenkins are gone, then yeah I wouldn't mind drafting one.

Jolly may fade a suspension since during a lockout the league's personal conduct policy doesn't apply. However, I really doubt the Packers bring him back. But I think he'll get another shot somewhere. Maybe even this season.

The Packers could repeat as champs even if they didn't show up to the draft and lost Jenkins and Jones...that's how deep this team is.

I'm makin' ya'll proud in the SE mock draft...Martez Wilson and Jerrel Jernigan to start at OLB and WR respectively.

Packers might be favored in every game this season. @Atl and @Chi are potential hiccups, maybe even @Detroit.

Can't say I'm a fan of Reed. He's got a great burst and ridiculous motor, but he's not real fluid and he might end up as a liability against the run. Watt should go top 20, maybe as high as #9 to Dallas, so I don't think we'll have a shot at him. Peter King had him dropping to 27 though, lol.

I'll be happy with any of the top 5 OL...Solder is the most likely to fall to 32 imo.

Ted did his "pre-draft" press conference today. He gave away less than nothing about the draft. His biggest leak was the DL class is "good". Ted gonna Ted.

I hadn't realized this. That is so awesome...

Haven't studied the schedule closely but on a quick glance it looks pretty homogeneous throughout, with no 4 or 5 game stretch of really tough games. That is also a good thing.

He was just on NFL Total Access or whatever it was and said he would love to re-sign and retire a Packer.

we dont quite know as much as we would in a regular off season, perhaps they had talks and nearly got a deal done before the lockout or maybe there were golf course discussions with friends of friends. PFW said jenkains said "packers were definately an option"

im hoping he resigns as it only helps our team but last i heard it wasnt optimistic

He doesn't.

Hawk and Bishop are locked in as starters, and Barnett is due ~12m over the next two years. Plus, he can't play OLB in a 3-4.

NFL.com had a story a while ago that mentioned that the Packers FO would explore trading Barnett after the lockout is over...and if they couldn't trade him, he would be cut.

He's worth 4th-5th rounder, at best.

Weird that we only have one MNF game, but we do have 5 primetime games, so can't really complain overall. I prefer NBC over ESPN anyways.
