Hey guys, the wife, brother in law and I are going to be around GB at the 10th of September, they're Packers fans and we wanna go. Right now tickets seem to go for $300-$400 a piece. Are those prices standard? We're from Germany, so we got no point of reference. That seems pretty high. Are they generally going up or down from here on out?

I wouldn't pay that much, but if by the time game week rolls around the prices haven't dropped, obviously as a rare opportunity cost it's up to you what the value is.

As an aside, if you're going east after Green Bay, my family has a cabin on a lake about 4 hours away and we'd be happy to let you park there for a few days midweek to stretch your legs so to speak. No cost, just don't trash it. Pm me if you want more details.

Nothing really surprising from GB in the roster cuts. Only 2 QBs on roster, all 3 rookie RBs are on the roster, and 10 O-linemen made the roster. Those really seem to be the only things of note.

Geronimo Allison is suspended for week 1, so someone (I assume) will likely be waived when he is eligible to return. Allison got a concussion in the last preseason game, so he'd probably have been held out week 1, regardless.

How stupid was McCarthy calling 2 timeouts before the half when he couldn't force Seattle to punt? Basically gave them a free 3 points.

McCarthy should be fired tomorrow. This offense looks horrendous. Can you call quick short passes instead of calling plays where Rodgers drops back and gets swamped. Make Capers HC. At least his D looks good.

I'm happy with the way the game went, besides McCarthy's horrible timeouts at the end of the 1st half. A healthy Seattle defense is never going to be easy to play against, especially now that they have Richardson.

I thought Montgomery ran well and it's great to see the defense looking good. The game in Atlanta next week will tell us a lot more.
