Dropping back to pass on over 75% of plays so far and we've gone for it on 4th and short twice. This is what a lot of us have been asking for.

Yes.

I think McCarthey has way overrated Lacey. I don't think Packers missed him at all. He is too slow in hitting the hole, doesn't really break that many tackles. Seeing WRs actually show some quickness in hitting the line of scrimmage as RBs was helpful. Hopefully this Davis guy they picked wil work out.

It only took literally having 0 RBs available for McCarthy to call an optimal game plan.

Such a fun game to be at last night! My boy Adams finally starting to take his true form and make some great catches.

yeah so my reaction

-this basically confirms my theory that RBs in the tradional sense are pretty useless. I love Lacy but he's really nothing more than a clock eating battering ram that would be best used late in the game with a large lead. outside of short yardage situations there's really no reason to have him out there. In fact, I love this Montgomery at running back idea when used like he was last night. Incredibly dynamic. It's basically a variation of what the patriots have been doing for the last... oh I dunno... 10 years (Woodhead / Vereen / Lewis, etc).

-absolutely ABSURD that Ty wasn't on the field (at least at WR) more earlier this season

-I don't think Jordy and Randall are running in the 4.6s anymore...

Randle surgery over the weekend, out 4-6 weeks. Abby and Banjo go on IR. Lacey on IR. Who knows how long Starks will be out. Wow injuries really piling up.

No Cobb or Montgomery. **** this team every year with injuries.

I love that the first five wide looks all year happened only after our two best wide receivers got hurt

And I'm finally home in time for the second half. Man I hate being on call hope everything other Sunday...

Honestly, I hope we never see lacy in a Packers uniform again. Honestly, let's just roll with street free agent rbs, just to have them in by default and just pass, pass, pass!

sigh....

Offense finally looks good, and the defense can't field a team due to injuries

haha A+

I sometimes think we have the dumbest fan base with all the Rodgers hate but then I realize it must everywhere. (also I use 'hate' literally... as in I heard multiple people in person calling for the back up.)

anyways, maybe it's because of the extent the Cubs beat me down this weekend, but this is about the least frustrating loss I can remember. Rodgers looked fantastic, the 5-wide was a revelation (lol... and sigh), we are using running backs in modern ways (no more pounding the rock? maybe?). it's basically taken an injury-mandated restructuring of the line-up to force McCarthy to coach optimally.

but yeah, our top 3 CBs were hurt (not to mention everyone else). I thought things were quite promising.

my packers friend thought Rodgers had a bad game and highlighted that last incomplete to Adams as evidence

According to the Journal-Sentinel's Bob McGinn, it was. I'm not even linking the article, it was so asinine. Basically said that Rodgers isn't clutch. Never mind that he did orchestrate a go-ahead drive before the Falcons had theirs.
