Doesn't seem like this season is going to be much fun, but damn that Anthony Morrow can shoot.

yahoo sports showing the latest "Jackson-to" rumor is Charlotte. Looking on the trade machine, I can totally see Nazr Mohammed coming back this way as Foyle v2.0 (I'm assuming they don't ship Wallace to the dubs )

Wallace's contract numbers are a closer fit to Jackson than Mohammed's: http://hoopshype.com/salaries/charlotte.htm

Maybe after losing to the Clips by 30 it doesn't really matter too much what they do.

I tried to rationalize the Clippers game to myself saying it wouldn't have gone so bad if Turiaf and Biedrins weren't hurt but ffs who am I kidding, this team sucks

...then they just hammer Minnesota in epic fashion.

It'll be a year of street ball. I liked the lineup of Moore, Curry, Ellis, Law and Watson. I've seen more size on a rec. league team.

Wonder if Nelson will make it long enough for the milestone win, or if they're even good enough to get the 22(?) more that he needs?

No way. Riley could bring down the hammer at any moment.

huzzah!

the best part of this deal (aside from bell) is that the bobcats are ****ing terrible so jackson is still going to be bitter

Can't wait to see how well Jackson gets along with Larry Brown.
Golden State Warriors: Raving About The Butterfly Quote

...speaking of Brown, it appears that Iverson was waived today.

I really hope the the Warriors aren't soft peddling Bell's health so it looks like they got some value. If Bell is gone for the year (which I've read is a possibility) it looks the W's basically gave him away for free (which may have been all the value he could get).

Looks like Bell is going to have surgery and they did in fact trade Jackson for ~$20M in cap relief (as well as removing his locker room presence).

Rumor mills going crazy right now saying Ellis is next. Then Nellie will be frustrated at the lack of talent and he'll quit leaving us in, oh, 1995. Where's Tom Guggliotta when you need him?

We should trade Ellis for Jose El Matador Calderon yeah pass this on to Don Nelson someone.

The Chronicle makes it sound like they were an eyelash away from Wally Szerbiack, so not too far away. Thank goodness for Delonte West's bipolar disorder and predilection for carrying loaded weapons on his person.

If they move Ellis attendance will look like those A's games in the late '70s.

game of the year thus far for sure, ellis staying in front of roy for most of the game was pretty damn impressive, as was wafflecrushing portland with what really amounts to about 7 1/2 guys (mikki moore is 1/4 of a player, morrow 5/4 of one)
