If you compare their stats with the Tigers, then Kelly was still better than Romine. The biggest difference is Kelly's 163 Ks in 6 years vs. Romine's 144 Ks in 3 years, besides the 23 HRs vs. 6 HRs.

Kelly is by far better offensive player and if anything, his OPS shows that. This is not only valid for his MLB-career, it goes all the way back to his draft round and his minor league stats.

The thing with Sanchez is that he is great when on PEDs and lousy without. The only question that remains is how to get rid of his contract. Same thing with Lowe.

15 hits and 11 earned runs in 5.2 innings isn't too bad in Little League though. He could actually win a game there, although I prefer Amanda Whurlitzer on the mound.

miggy tweaked his back in the wbc. i would have given him 100k and concierged plane travel to anywhere in the world to skip this thing. even if he ends up drunk in Madagascar with no cell phone - still better than unnecessary swings.

Gose has the most experience, but he can't get along with Lloyd.
Collins looks like a catcher and simply isn't athletic enough for CF.
Mahtook is a former 1st rounder, but his graph shows in the wrong direction.
Jones is young and doing well in a small sample so far, but he has already been suspended for drug abuse.

Nevertheless Jones and Mahtook have the biggest potential for an upswing.
