From what I've heard, Porcello probably won't be up with the Tigers all year. The talent is quite obviously there, but he has a ways to go in terms of becoming a true MLB pitcher. Has anyone heard reports to the contrary? What makes us think he's going to be on the Opening Day roster? No need to push him too hard, imo.
Dombrowski said he wouldnt rule out Porcello starting the year in the showww but he doesn't expect it. I think there just really in a tough spot in regard to that because of how bad robertson/willis suck. Add that to the fact that Bondos shoulder might not be ready yet and id say theres atleast some chance he makes the opening day roster.
I had a dream last night that Bonderman was pitching and the tigers were winning 9-6..I think it was late in the game, but all of a sudden every Indians hitter was hitting homeruns and we were then getting killed. It was a home game, but that stupid tribe guy who bangs on the drum was there in the middle of the stands, so to distract everyone I shouted, "let's all throw chairs at that guy!" so everyone ripped their seats out and probably killed the drummer guy. Then I felt a little guilty. Then I woke up.
