I am too. I hate to see him getting banged up. And I love Bell as well. Two really tough players who run the ball well. But damn do I want to see them go far.
anybody here think the Lion's have a legitimate shot at winning tomorrow? I'm probably by myself in really liking how they match up with the patriots, and if i was forced to bet on the game i'd take the lions, i honestly think they take this game
I see us and feel like we should be able to shock the world using the same defensive formula the Giants used in 2 Super Bowl victories over the Pats. But then I remember we're the Lions and we don't win games like this.
last year @chicago.. my favorite road win was 2011 @oak though, such a huge comeback and win for their playoff hopes, they have a game like that in them tomorrow
2012 we won at Philly and at Jacksonville. Both teams 4 wins or less.
2011 we beat a 2-4 Denver team (no Peyton)Tampa, Minnesota, Dallas, Oakland (dallas was the lol Romo gift game) 3 of those teams finished 8-8
2010 Won at Tampa and somewhere else when we started 3-10
2009 0-8
2008 0-16
2007 Won at Oakland and Chicago. Both sub 500
2006 went 3-13 Beat Dallas last game of the season who were 9-6 We were 2-13, not a big game
2005 beat the saints and browns both sub 5 wins. We finished 5-11
2004 finishes 6=10 beat a 6 win NYG team, bears 5-11, and Atlanta. We were 2-1 at the time. Atlanta was 4-0. Ended up 11-5
I would say thats our last real road victory against a good team. (Chicago last year might have been it if we actually won the division)
you're a lions fan so you have a right to be pessimistic, but i don't understand how you don't give the leagues #1 defense a chance to win.. they can beat anybody anywhere this year, they've shown they have won games this year that the old lions usually give away, they can and will win tomorrow (assuming boger isn't the ref)
