On a side note, this is going to make preseason games even more of a joke. You're gonna start seeing teams not play their starting QBs for a single down in any of the four games now.
I dunno, he's far from the first guy to get hurt in the preseason at QB. I think the trend has been moving this way for a while now with vets (AP etc...). I think it's just going to continue as it has. But a 36 year old with multiple back injuries getting yet another isn't that big a story. And only Jerry can be surprised. None of us are.
I don't see him playing through it. And I guess how Dak performs will have more to say about that then anything.
