Luckily, our 2012 infield of Chisenhall, Droobs, Kipnis, and Pujols should be pretty solid.

I don't know what's sadder, that our starting LF and 1B both hit like middle infielders or that I'm angry that Acta gave them both the same night off because Marson and Kearns hit like pitchers. Stagger that ****, man, our lineup is AIDSy enough with everyone playing.
Ah, apparently Brantley is hurt. Fantastic.

Obvi the injuries are doing us in. Without Choo and Sizemore playing (and playing meaning hitting >.250) I think we are done. But optimistic for next year.
PS: We still play the tiggers 12 more times this year. It's still not over.

eh splitting the series while losing two one-run games when david huff and carlos carrasco are pitching in boston is about as good as you are gonna get

Very true. I just feel they played well enough to win 3/4, but couldn't hang on due to either bad defense or a lack of "situational hitting" (bad luck). Hopefully they at least go into Texas with some confidence.
Also, hopefully Fausto doesn't drown in his own sweat in the heat (is there a contract clause for that?).
