i mean, if lebron was a fa next offseason and expressed a desire to come back, that deal gets down no doubt. but this is just too much of a commitment for gilbert which is reasonable. ofc, imo, i think its undoubtedly worth the risk reward to wait on him since that means massive title equity and even if he spurns the cavs, they will have 2 more highish picks and money to spend.
plus the fans will have cooled down a little more by then.

Does money trump all in the NBA even if they have to go to a city that they think kinda sucks. Is Kyrie Irving gonna be a huge draw possibly offsetting the negative images that some might have of C-town?
Correct me if I'm wrong but in the NFL I think that $$ is mostly what matters for the players, right??? Plus they have some new system .... $120 million whatever it is...each team has to spend???
