Re: Cleveland Cavaliers: History Made!
who won't? the ones playing good today all will be (tristan, kyree, gee).
cool to win a close game here and there. at home, too. too easy to get into the '**** we won another game god-dammit think about the draft' mindstate. i still enjoy watching wins.

Re: Cleveland Cavaliers: History Made!
well, when kyrie rolls in a few years bc there is no talent around him and we havent finished higher than a six seed, hopefully your memory of these games keeps you happy.

freaking A --- my trolling name i go by is "BrainWorms" -- don't blow my cover. -- and you used it several posts back, so i thought you picked me off.
but i'm ready to assume another alter ego anyway. 2+2 is the place to be anyway!
i'm a happy troll for the most part if that counts for anything, but it gets on the nerves of frustrated virgins.
EDIT: add Lebron old akron crib http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=...009486,0.01929

Went searching for Lebron's house on the corner of I-77 & Rte 18 Fairlawn/Bath (Market St) and found this instead. Awesome!

Re: Cleveland Cavaliers: History Made!
Well, fridays game was horrible. Should have spent the ticket money on drinks at the bar.
Sundays game was unbelievable though. What clutch free throws by Kyrie. Was made even more intense by my buddy having kings +2 and under 199.
Some things I took away from sundays game.
1. Give Tristan Thompson more minutes. Even if he's a bit undersized, i'd rather see him out there then Erden.
2. Tell Jamison and Omri to stop shooting three's. Lebron took it out of his game, they should learn to as well.
3. Create more catch and shoot open looks for Kyrie, and let him take shot after shot. He seems deadly with the open jumper. I'm not sure if the stats back it up, but he seemed better playing as the 2 guard.
Some things I took away from Cleveland:
1. I know why Lebron left. Cleveland has the worst traffic lights in the world. Random light changes when you're the only car on the road at 2 am. Phantom advance greens when no one is in the turn lane. Lights being red at all ways for a 5 second period.
What an inefficient system, was tilting me hardcore by day 3.

+1 tristan. dude was an animal yesterday.
+omri stop shooting 3's.
jamison can keep chucking them, plus, no way he's gonna unlearn that at this point in his career. he's still gonna put up some of the most ridiculous shots you've ever seen, but at least some of them go in. he's gonna be gone soon anyway.
irt the traffic lights: totally feel you. getting from the Q to the lake could take anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes depending on how the lights are feeling at that moment. whenever i'm up there, i'm generally walking anyway, but yeah..

Re: Cleveland Cavaliers: History Made!
CROSSPOST -- something we Northeast Ohio peeps can entertains ourselves with and be proud of while we waiting for Cavs to be contenders.
From Ohio State Football thread:

OSU recruit] & Nick Tavenello (ranked 5th in NATION!!!) an Ohio State future Football player & excellent Wrestling recruit who just won the district championship & will probably win state next week--- He's from Wadsworth, OH.... I think he edged out the St Edward guy in overtime. The Ed's guy came back & finished in 3rd place.
Of all 14 wrestlers on the St Ed's squad --- 3rd place was their lowest place --amazing.
St Edwards is sending all 14 wrestlers to the state finals next week from the Ashland District....... they had an incredible 10 wrestlers win the districts and another 3 finish in 2nd place with their heavyweight coming in 3rd.
Now if we could only get more of these excellent wrestlers to commit to The Ohio State University instead of Penn State (David Taylor (St Paris Graham, OH--have you heard of this guy? phenomenal).... or Iowa Hawkeyes.... or Michigan)

Any St Ignatius fans out there?
there's a guy by the name of George DiCamillio and he's ranked #1 in the United States ---- he's cruising to state next week from the Mentor District
********************************
So NorthEast Ohio fans.......... we actually do have something to cheer for unfortunately it's high school sports and not the real thing.

Wadsworth senior Nick Tavanello wrestled the last three seasons at 215 pounds, placing third at state as a freshman and winning the last two years in Division I
