vizquel, kotsay, jones, and teahen are a combined 1 for 27, but it's ok because they can all go 0-4 at three different positions

it gives ozzie flexibility with his lineup without having to put Dye and Thome in every day just because they can hit

How pathetic are the Sox right now? Wait, I'll tell you. Team BA is .231...dead last in the AL. Runners in scoring position? .204. Also good for dead last.

Start panicking Sox fans. Heads are rolling this year, and I think hitting coach Greg Walker will be the first to go. He Gone!

I'm not really worried about the Sox struggling pitching staff, I think by the end of the season they will be among the leading staffs for quality games, they always are. That will even out, and once Peavy is back to %100 which he absolutely is not, it will take tons of pressure off the rest of the guys.

Kenny Williams needs to start making some moves for a couple bats. No moves are out there yet since it is early, but overpaying for a player should not be out of the question at this point. Apart from Beckham, the entire offense should be on the trading block. Konerko should be the first to go, his value is the highest it will be all season at this point. Juan Pierre is turning out to be a bad move, he is an 8 or 9 hitter, not cut out for leading off anymore. Beckham and Quentin are killing the Sox, but what can you do they are young and need to be rolled out there everyday. AJ Pierzynzki is losing it and getting old fast. Tyler Flowers needs to be brought up from Triple-A rotate in with AJ. Alexei Ramirez just sucks. His head is never in the game. In the field, he's on pace for around 35 errors and will probably lead all SS. Beckham isn't comfortable at 2nd base either, on pace for around 25 errors. You would think Ozzie would realize this and just switch around the middle infielders. Beckham is being prepped for the "face of the franchise" role. Why not put your best young star at his most skilled position? It just seems stupid to me, looking at how many errors they are making in the middle. Really the only bright spot is Alex Rios finally getting comfortable in his new surroundings. He is on his way to a great season both in the field and at the plate.

More than a month into the season, and Sox games are getting painful to watch. Moves have to be made, egos have to be stomped on, they just aren't getting the job done. Start praying Sox fans, this could be a long season.

Start the firesale. I think you could combine the Cubs and the Sox into one super-chicago team and have a squad that is still under .500

Well if the sox can take the 2 games this weekend the don't face Strats-o-fame and then play well against the Cubs next weekend, we could be flirting with .500....That would be pretty shocking with how bad they have looked.

and yeah, YM, you are looking just fine in that bet, wasn't it over like 5 years or so though?
