There was no reason to even look there given defensive look and he THREW it there.

Hoyer's stat lines have been good but when it's a key 3rd down/critical play he manages to **** me off.

Hoyer is gonna be our starter rest of the year obviously though. Tanking wiser for kizer.
I was trying to explain yesterday while watching the game why Cutler is better. The best explanation is that Hoyer is a very serviceable NFL QB. But, there is a time when you look over and see your best player 1-on-1 and the first read is supposed to go to another spot on the field, Cutler says **** it I'm throwing the ball to my best receiver. What makes everyone hate him is also what wins games.

I had the same problem with McCown, the daily framework of the offense stuff is great. But there is that final drive when you need some throws made and some decisions made he did not have the confidence or talent to do it.

Hoyer starting the rest of the year though is what is best for the team. Tanking Wiser for Kizer.

lol @ +2 turnovers and still losing to the Jags at home. Didn't think it could get worse than the end of the trestman era, this is getting there.

it's the bears so they'll pick the biggest bust out of that group as tradition.

Sucks there wasn't even one feel good post about the Minnesota win.

Win actually made me feel worse. Keep the tank going. Get Fox fired. Get a high draft pick. Two things that actually could make this team better in 3 years.

i dont think fox is going anywhere. the expectations are so low for this team his job is secure for a couple more years.

Only feel good about this season is the packers are looking like they're in a giant tire fire season of their own. McCarthy doing nothing but that tool speak in the media all the dumb business people like to do and their team blows with Rodgers and I'm sure none of the guys responsible will get fired for it like most businesses.

2 of our better players got busted for PED's and we still suck. Can't even cheat right.

Guessing Fox is gone as this is a total rebuild. Half our starters or more being out on both sides of the ball seemingly though is probably their excuse if they keep him. Sucks we paid our $ to guards on a rebuilding team.

I suppose losing is better, but was today some sort of hazing ritual by the WRs?

None of them are NFL caliber players. I mean maybe Marquess is borderline? The offense was good today considering all the scrubs, I think only leno/whitehair actually started week 1. Or possibly even on the 53 man roster other than those two and howard...

Just sucks WR went from arguably best in the damn league just a couple years ago from just 2 guys to holy **** balls they're awful.

Yeah, I mean I get all the over the shoulder ones, but the Bellamy one in the end zone doesnt require NFL caliber skill to catch a ball. Just sad to watch.

Barkley's nfl nuts dropped in the second half, that was impressive for him. So tilting that 1st down literally bounced off between his numbers.

So, will we actually be able to change the title next season?

Oh Christ we just got outsmarted by the 49ers. This may be the lowest point in team history.

I guess since the Cubs finally won a world series another team has to take over as the most hapless piece of **** franchise in town and Bears seem to be volunteering.

in town? Bears are in the running for all of sports. They didn't tell fox they were gonna grab trubisky if browns passed until an hour before the draft started. Fox called Fisher for handling top rookie QB advice. The odds of this succeeding are just so remote. He couldn't even do a hard count on that QB show gruden does. We signed glennon which I believe ruins any compensation for letting Jeffrey walk.

How did we fire trestman/emery's dumpster fire and manage to get worse? How was that even possible?

**** the mccaskey's

DL/OL isn't awful, so there's that I guess?

They looked better than expected. If they would have covered that goon TE they may have won? If they could catch the ball in the last 30 seconds they may have won?

Defense other than the Hooper mishaps looked pretty good. Glennon looked pretty good albeit a dink and dunk approach. They have no WRs. Cohen looks great. I am optimistic.

Not getting optimistic until Glennon hits the bench. We really needed Alshon yesterday.

Front 7 looked good, RBs looked really good, O line was OK, Secondary still trash, with above average QB play we might collect a few Ws this year.

I think Glennon is fine. The few deep balls looked okay and he hit 2 different guys in the hands in the endzone in the last 30 seconds and both were dropped.

This team ain't going to the playoffs but I just want them to be competitive. With White now out, Alshon gone and Meredith out for season you can't expect much from the passing game. Why subject Trubisky to that? It has no upside when your top 2 receiving threats are Kendall Wright and Zack Miller. Let him hold the clipboard and watch. Glennon will be crippled by bad offensive line play before you know it.

Nothing to add I just feel bad for Kevin White. These guys all want to prove themselves and yeah they get paid but they work their ****ing asses off and there's a lot of pressure so imagine being the 7th overall pick, and all the expectations that come with that, and that you grew up in the weeds of pennsylvania and you had zero D1 offers coming out of high school so you went to ****ing Lackawanna College, and now you're new in the league, and you're not just anywhere but in sky-scraping broad-shouldered white-toothed racist-but-only-a-little so-bear-down CHICAGO. But then you miss your entire rookie season bc of some dumb injury that I can't even remember, and then you work doubly hard, quadruply hard, really hard to get back, and hey now your second year starts and you actually play three games that count and the games go pretty well and you can even feel yourself maaybe feeling like you belong and wow this is your life and now it's game four and then hey your leg snaps.

It snaps. But you're not gonna feel sorry for yourself so you do it all again, all the rehab all the training camp all the same media questions in all the tones that you can tell are getting more and more frustrated--even though this isn't your fault really, I mean is it?--but screw it and screw them because now it's year three and you're finally ****ing ready for this so let's go let's go let's go game one annnnnd broken scapula. You have a broken scapula. At least that's what the doctor's saying, his lips are moving. Is this a dream?

Nope: it just sucks. Maybe he's injury prone beyond dumb bad luck...but none of us knows that. Bears prob aren't quite as overall godawful as the national perception of them, but they do suck, and for the last x years they've felt legit cursed. It's no fun and I really hope it turns around, I hope Trubisky works out, I hope Kevin White comes back and plays ten good years, I hope the McCaskeys are smote by a comet or raped by pirates in crete and then drowned or maybe even while summering in aspen the entire bloodline wanders off-trail and gets devoured by a literal brown bear. I'd be basically ok with that. I'd say the right things, "what a way to go," "that was certainly an ironic death," "I appreciate the Halas family," but secretly, I'd be like "GODDAMN RIGHT IT WAS BEARS" and "now, about that defensive backfield." Regardless I hope Kevin White and the Chicago Bears turn it around soon. Because it's easy to forget how much fun it is to not suck.
