2 game win streak!

starting pitching has actually been a whole lot better than the record indicates. matusz, millwood, guts, hernandez have all been pretty decent. fewer late inning meltdowns and the season might not end up as bad as it started.

It is when 4 of them have been against Boston. The thought of sending the invasion of Red Sox fans back to New England winless makes me quite happy. I hope that they are in panic mode after their performance against a team as bad as the Orioles.

pretty awesome sweep against boston, for series win #1 this year. even with the L last night, 5-5 in this 12 game stretch with boston and NY - much much better than I expected.

yeah it was a tough one last night. burnett pitched really well. sometimes, there is not too much you can do....another good outing for matusz. he's shown a lot in a short time.
