Matusz settled down eventually. He got out of a tough jam with only 2 runs.

Mike Gonzalez sure made things interesting. We could have easily swept that series if we knew how to hit with RISP before today's game.

Yea, can't say I paid too much attention to this series aside from results and a few random innings here and there with the Masters and a F'd up sleep schedule happening.

If we could get our pitching / hitting to be in sync for a week or 2 at a time we could start climbing back towards .500

This would require the Orioles to be a good baseball team. This is something that they haven't been since 1998.

It quit being painful for me once I learned to embrace the humor that the Orioles provide.

Luckily I am old enough to have experienced the Earl Weaver/Hank Peters era and can live off of that for the rest of my days. For the younger folks I can only hope that you can experience similar success sometime in the future. Or, you can become a Phillies fan.
