I feel like many years ago I tried to figure out how long it would take to drop down to .500 historical record

And now we did it

Fml in more ways than one

Dansby at -0.4 WAR, not including today's disaster, aka Dansby's normal. Not to be confused with Andrelton's normal, which is Dansby's never.

Send him back to AAA until he learns how to hit a slider (currently WOAT in MLB against sliders) and make the routine plays at short. The later is what demands he be sent down, imo. These are his young and spry days, should be able to at least play some D.

Weird that possibly the worst thing that could have happened for his career (given our front office) was to get hot in the bigs last year and outperform his AA line

Also weird is that a guy who loves driving the ball the other way can't make contact with a slider

I think it was fine to give him a chance to start the season as our SS given lack of other options. But at this point I don't see what good letting him flail around out there is doing anybody. He is even tied for the league lead in errors ffs, and not like he has great range to make up for it. Seems dumb to burn his through his service clock just to keep him in a situation that is hurting his development and certainly isn't helping us win.

Only argument I can think of for sending Swanson down is to get away from the pressure (assuming he's feeling pressured) of being the savior etc. The Freeman injury sucks in that regard because he was taking a lot of the attention away from Swanson I think.

I haven't been watching many games tbh but if you look at the advanced defensive metrics and all that **** he's doing completely fine at SS. Leading the league in errors isn't a good look tho lol

The K-rate was never in question,

it's the walks that have always been the question with him

Braves select Vanderbilt RHP Kyle Wright 5th overall

Vandy is a well-oiled machine that churns out great prospects, especially great pitching prospects,

but don't we need impact hitters at some point?

Yea was hoping Lewis would drop. Or maybe we go underslot with Keston Hiura.

Bleh..Wright was definitely the best player available but I wanted a masher to follow

I don't know how viable Sean Newcomb can be with only two pitches,

but that curveball is NASTY

I got braves over 74.5 wins at better than even odds

and

also under 75.5 for better than even odds for half that wager

Wish I woulda bet the over right when it came out - I think the braves opened closer to 72 or 73 wins. Though I think we will get 75+.

Team has a chance to stay hot against some bad teams out west.

I swear he has a changeup but I've never seen him throw it lol

Saw him throw a change-up last night that Wil Myers hit for a single. I also saw him throw a slider, Fangraphs says he throws it 6.8% of the time.

19 year old phenom OF Ronald Acuna called up to AAA yesterday and of course hits a HR in his 2nd AB tonight.

Here's his last beastly HR in AA http://www.milb.com/r/video?content_...1600003783&v=3

So is Camargo flat out better than Dansby at this point?

Do we need to send Dansby down to get his head right?
