Hmmm, I am less than excited for this trade, but I guess that means we are keeping two gold glove outfielders in Parra and Pollack.

In before Skaggs becomes the next Scherzer or Jarrod Parker.

We've traded away quite a lot of pitching recently, wished the Angels would have taken Cahill instead.

And let's hope Corbin's second half was due to fatigue and not regression to the mean.

McCarthy is going to have a much better season than Cahill. I really think McCarthy might be our best pitcher this year.

Justin Upton completely flopping still wouldn't exonerate Kevin Lolwers for that trade.

And it might not be in his top 5 worst moves. Crazy how the Suns and Cardinals have top-5 front offices in their respective sports (finally) and the D-Backs might be the worst in MLB.

I'm perfectly fine with Prado. Actually, I'm very high on him. I just don't like seeing him in the cleanup spot. I'd rather see him in the 2 or 5 hole.

It's Opening Day! Kind of. But McCarthy is pitching, and I am very high on him this year. And we are playing my second least favorite team (formerly #1, but Dodgers took that crown and ran with it).

I'm happy with every position player we have this year so far outside of Pollock and his constant bitching every time he strikes out and Campana and his non-Pollock-like center fielding. As for the pitching....

I like having the power bat and defensive IQ can be taught/learned so not too worried about that.. As for pitching, agree with you guys, it's going to be a long year if things don't turn around quickly on that front.

The starters aren't doing the bullpen any favors by only going 4-5 innings, but they all definitely need to step up their game. Offense overall has been respectable so far. I really like Owings. I'm glad he won out over Didi.
