Yeah, I'd rather have just left Peralta in.

I'm already sick of this chicken tender talk/jokes, and I know it's going to be discussed at least the rest of the weekend.

Clutch outing by Colmenter tonight. And I loved our lineup. Lamb is beasting.

Not much to say about tonight's game. De La Rosa has his best outing of the year but gets his first loss. The 2 run shot he gave up in the 4th? was crushing. The blown call against CO was a real rally killer. Had something going and got screwed over.
Oh well. On to tomorrow and let's try to get a series win and finish up a winning road trip.
On another note, a good friend of mine is the equipment manager for the Rangers whole minor league system. He got me tickets to both of the Rangers vs Dbacks game this week. I don't know exactly where they are yet, but he said they should be somewhere in the lower rows behind the Rangers dugout. It will be a fun change from my usual nosebleed seats.

Nice seats! But a change? You sat directly behind home plate!

Haha. Yeah, I guess you have a point. Ok, 95% of the games I go to we're in the nosebleeds.....unless we've been given free tickets.
My kids don't really like sitting in the first level because the stands are flatter and they can't see over the people in front of them. They'd rather sit up high where the stands are steeper and they can see everything easier. Fine by me. My wallet appreciates it.

Sigh, Tomas starting at 3rd tonight and Lamb heading to 15 day DL.

I was just going rounds with someone on Facebook about that. Saw the lineup posted and was pissed Tomas was starting over Lamb. Then saw he's on the DL. Hopefully his foot heals faster than Trumbo's did last year. Speaking of Trumbo, I'm also not thrilled he's starting over Inciarte tonight vs a RHP.

I told my wife this is the worst lineup so far this year with Tomas playing, Owings batting second and no Inciarte.

And for good measure they called up an additional OF from Reno to fill Lamb's spot on the roster. I get it that he's hitting like .490 or something stupid but we have enough trouble spreading ABs around as it is.

WAT? I thought they called up Drury who plays infield...
Bah, missread Dorn for Drury on Twitter. Sigh.
A 30 year old at that. Anytime a minor leaguer is close to my age and making his major league debut, it is both an enjoyable thing but not one with much upside. Like Tuffy.
Wow, that is just sick. He has been basically playing full time in AAA since the 2009 season and hasn't even gotten a cup of coffee. He deserves this!

Not bad for freebies.

You sure get a lot of freebies! And you got to see Tomas score and Beltre run down a runner unnecessarily!

This game got out of hand quickly. Lol at Hudson not getting charged with any earned runs.

ESPN saying he had 3 earned runs.

Must have been updated. When he came out of the game the scoreboard showed 5 runs, 0 er, still a 0.00 ERA. There had been 2 errors so I wasn't sure if they were going to charge him with those last few runs or not.

Wow. I left Chase during a pitching change in the bottom of the 8th. Not till I got home a bit ago did I see they tried to lose tonight. Would've sucked to waste that outing.
Also, nice to see CO hitting the ball better lately. Would be a big help to have him get back to like he was before getting hurt last year. Ahmed looked awesome at short tonight as well.

Well Reed needed to get his all important save, so we helped him out.
