Well in the beginning I said I'd be happy with a split, ecstatic with anything more. Don't like how it happened but I like how we battled back. I'd be mildly disappointed with 1/3 in DET and ecstatic with 2/3. We just need to avoid getting our **** pushed in like last year and our horrible May swoons from the last 2 years.

I do love the way this series was played - two really good teams who obviously respect each other and just want to line up your best vs. our best. No need for beanings and bull**** like mullet-turd Samardja talking **** all game. You can see the Royals have no desire to start **** except in defense of themselves (with the exception of Ventura being super-sensitive). I predict that whole thing is gonna be a forgotten story in a couple more weeks.
