What to do if someone shorts fantasy buy in

Wwyd if you won your fantasy league go to collect and get told it's short because someone didn't pay in?
A) plead w commissioner to cover
B) contact player directly
C) nothing
D) wait to see person at casino and take it off their stack
E) wait to see person at casino and shank them in the parking lot while yelling "you know what you did"

We play a very passive home game at different houses in which we take turns beinng the bank. Our rule is its the banks responsibility to look after the money and they cover any missing funds (which is why we take turns). So in my opionion, who ever was your bank (assume this was the commissioner?) owes the money for not collecting in the first place.....
