Just under a month to go until the football season starts again and we can go back to watching football every day of the week!

The attraction of the UFPL game is that it's new and has different rules (beta'd in the second half of last season) so it makes it a bit more unpredictable compared to the regular FPL game. Also,with only two transfer windows and no player price changes then hopefully it should be a lot less time consuming once the season does start as you would only need to pick your gameweek squad and then make any subs you need.

There is a £5 entry to enter a team in the UFPL game, and guaranteed prize money of £25k to the winner and a £1k monthly prize. I don't think there will be an overlay though .

Hopefully there is enough interest so that we can get a little league going.

Please make yourself familiar with the rules as they are different to the regular game rules:

• You have a squad of 25 players, and you can only select 18 of those players for each gamweek

• It is similar to the WC/Euro/UCL games in that you can remove players from your starting XI during the gameweek and replace them with someone else who is yet to play.

• Player prices remain fixed for the whole season

• There are only two periods where you can make transfers. Gameweek 1-3 and Gameweek 20-23

• The points system is slightly different as well, e.g. 6 points/goal for everyone and points for crosses, key passes, recovered balls etc.

Just have a search on here. Have done many of these before for WC/Euros/EPL/UCL etc and held all the money. Although if we get a tonne of entrants I may have to to away with the money this time.
