This pool will run
IDENTICAL to last years.
$200 buy-in, single entry, winner-take-all (deals are allowed).
As you can see last year we had
48 participants with a first prize of
$9,600! I'd expect us to top that this year since I am starting signups a few weeks earlier.
We had two players, hfrog355 and mustavbeer, make it all the way through the season and chop the prize. Bravo.
How to Sign Up:
1. Post in the thread that you are IN.
2. Post in the thread which payment option you would like to use.
The payment options are:
-OTHER (see above)
-BoA
-Chase QP
-Stars
-cash deposit to BoA/Chase
-personal check from reputable members only received by me before August 31st
3. Wait for a PM from me (should receive within 24 hrs, maybe 48 if posted on a weekend).
4. Follow the instructions in the PM.
That's it. Should be rather simple. This thread will ONLY be used for the above or clarification on contest rules.
As you will see in the PM I send, there will be a soft deadline of Sept 6th for signups (that's the Friday before the first game), but if you happen to catch me online between then and kickoff and I'm able to exchange PM's quick enough you could still get in. Last year we had a signup an hour before we kicked off. As soon as payment is received and confirmed on my end you will receive the log-in info for the pool and you can sign up at your convenience.
Some rules to note:
1. Contest will be held on Yahoo!
2. If you don't submit a pick you will not automatically lose. You will get the biggest ML favorite (has to be a team you have not picked, closing Pinny line of game) from the Sunday and Monday games of that week. From that point on your picks will need to be manually submitted in the season thread. If the situation arises I will clarify how you will need to submit your picks.
3. Picks will need be in the Yahoo! client by Sunday at 1 PM EST. Thursday games ARE IN PLAY, but you will need to pick them before their kickoff.
4. All picks are displayed in the Yahoo! client once they lock at 1PM EST.
5. We are picking winners, not ATS.
6. You must be a 2p2er to participate, and you cannot pay the entry fee on anyone's behalf.
