Seems too early in the season to have so few choices, I have Denver left in both pools so think I have to go with them, even though they scare me for some reason. New Orleans seems like a decent pick, but something about Monday night scares me, that and Miami being 3-0.

I'm liking Cinci @Cleve a lot, the line seems way off at only -4.5. The Vikings are just a very bad team, I'm giving no weight to the Browns win last week.

Tennessee will be my lock this week. They should win handily vs a Jets team that basically struggled to barley beat 2 awful QB's this year. I see CJ and company going to town on them.

Yep, Gabbert expected to start. Indy lock. Might be picking against JAX for most pools the next 3 weeks.

Is it bad to use Denver this week instead of saving them for week 6 when they play the Jags?

I've used Ind, NE, and NO

I just think it's impossible to beat Godgers one week, and not beat Brian Hoyer the next, so I'm prob rolling Bengals .

Picking in division rivalry games is never a great idea.

In week 6 KC has Oakland in KC, and SF has Arizone in SF (assumming they turn it around).

That combined with Cincy on the road against a division team that might be a little frisky, and not knowing exactly what to make of Tenn and NYJ yet leads me to feel much more comfortable with Denver than anyone else, just wish I hadn't already used Indy.

Why not?

Vegas factors in every piece of information into the moneyline.

I referenced this earlier, still haven't seen any data one way or the other though.

I need a lock this week and I just can't find one.

Tennessee -185

They win this game about 63% of the time. There's five other teams more likely to win this week than the Titans. If you're so confident that this line is off, to hell with these stupid $20 survivor pools, you should be loading up and betting on them straight up to win.

Exactly, in a vaccum how many points should the Bengals be favored over the Browns? The fact the line seems "off" is Vegas factoring that in.

Concerns with picking Denver:

- 6 days of rest for them vs 10 for Philly
- letdown game after winning 3 straight
- letdown game since Philly's looked pretty bad

Are these legimate enough to go with NO, Tenn or Cincy (in a vacuum not worrying about future weeks)? Or is this just normal weekly survivor paranoia?

I keep going back to Denver, NO, Tenn, and Cincy scare me even more, but then I start thinking about the factors above and getting nervous, just overthinking it?

Hmmm...could see some separation this week.

My league:
- Ind - 27% (my pick)
- Den - 29%
- NO - 9%
- SF - 4%
- Cin - 17%
- KC - 10%
- Balt - 4%

Numbers are rounded obv.

I just read the weekly e-mail with our results and despite the fact that Seattle played the Jags last week 33% of the pool was somehow eliminated.
