TRich to the Colts? Wow. That's interesting. Also saw this:

@DaveRichard Just took in Brian Hoyer's film from week 17 last year. Throws can get high and off target, but he can hit the deep ball.

I'm saving them for a week where they're not picked by 65% of my competition.

the line moved from 5.5 to 6.5

anyone know the % difference of win % that is?

or are we still just talking in media speak and assuming point spreads have no predictive power in outcomes?

Here are 2011 and 2012.

Straight up favorites:

2011 179-77
2012 164-91-1

However teams favored by 7 points or more were this:

2011 79-15
2012 60-10-1

Always shocking when a marginally "less bad" offense & inferior defense loses.

Saying that taking the Vikings was bad is being totally results oriented. It was a good move an provided great separation from huge portions of many pools. Sucks that they lost obviously, but no one was saying don't take the Vikings because they might lose to Brian Hoyer. We're talking about picking against a team that openly gave up on the season and named their 3rd QB the starter for the week.

Took NO in my other pool and am super excited about my position vs everyone else the rest of the way.

Any plans for week 4 so far

I have used Packers and Seahawks (small pool started week 2) and have zero idea which way to go this week

I had planned Saints but Miami have looked legit so far this year.

The only big favs for week 4 are Denver and Indy. I'll be on one of those depending on what the exact numbers end up being.

Is it insane I am intrigued by the thought of picking KC over NYG?

Not at all. There's no huge locks this week, so I think it's fine. I'm leaning Cinci over Cleveland right now. New Orleans over Miami scares me and I already used Indy. If you had Indy left, I would def use them over KC though.

*Denver is a dicey pick this week too (even though 10 pt favs), only because the Eagles will have had 10 days rest and Denver only 6.

That is already factored into the line.

Congrats to anybody who went with Carolina over the Giants. And I had the Browns as well ATS. Couldn't believe everyone in my league took Minnesota. I did make a noob mistake though. I am in 2 survival pools. 1 ATS, and 1 straight up. With Carolina being a pick for me I used them confidently in the ATS pool, but ended up taking Denver in the straight up pool. If I liked Carolina I should have just went with them in both.

Well used Rams, Ravens, Seahawks so far.

Early look thinking Indy this week.

I've used Indy, Pats, Seahawks heading into Week 4.

Terrified of Vick going off on Denver, but that may end up being where I go.

Will definitely be a game time decision either way.

Well I am completely screwed since I used Indy/ATL/Den. If Denver survives, I guess I have to go with Cincy? There isn't a matchup I can feel comfortable about unless I go with New Orleans at home on MNF.
