I have a friend who lurks the EPL thread but rarely (if ever posts)

He is confirmed non-American (has played a bit of fantasy NFL the last two years with me with other clueless Aussies)

If you are short for the $50 auction league he can fill if required (we have never done an auction league among our circle of friends, only drafts). While I know that lurkers/newbies are rarely encouraged to join these type of thread reg comps, it looks like demand for the $20 derp league is going to greatly exceed the $50 expert league, so yeah, up to you.

priority goes to reg poasters, but if we dont fill then i'm happy for him to join

there's also a $50 auction that has a couple free spots if you want to take one.

I know its a bit early to be talking about draft times etc...

But would prefer that sunday same as last year. Get back from holiday saturday morning, so any time after that would be great, though if the majority want before that then i'll try and access it abroad.

for returning players from last yrs league i used the email addresses that yahoo have on their records. if you're a returning player who cant find the invite in your inbox for w/e reason then let me know and i'll PM you an invite the old fashioned way.

i should note one rule change from last year - we had 2 RB 3 WR 1 TE roster spot last time, this time its 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE and 1 flex (where flex is any player who is a TE, WR or RB)

very expert pro league invitations sent. when you send the entry fee lemme know who you are via PM.

only thing left to decide is the time of the drafts. my suggestion is to run the derper league draft straight after the last footie game on sunday 31st (6pm my time 1pm yank time), and run the auction 2 hrs after that so we get it all done in one go.

alternatively could hold one on the saturday and one on the sunday. please poast your thoughts.

That weekend is probably going to be a bit of a nightmare so getting a few hours on Sunday will be a lot easier than say, an hour on Sat and Sun

a super firm unbreakable hardcore date and time will be LOCKED IN on the 17th so we have plenty of time to bat ideas around.

aorn its looking like the derper draft will start at 6pm on sunday (1pm est) and the auction at 8pm (3est) giving the multitablers plenty of time to complete the derper and pop the kettle on before the auction starts.

RE: times:

Im going to be in Melbourne that week so would prefer to have the two events as close as possible (I can handle being awake late, but don't want to have to do say, 2am and then 7am) would rather bash them out at the same time.
