The main change from last year has to do with draft format - both will be auctions this year, and the auction clock will be sped up significantly in order to avoid the dragging issue we encountered last year.

Escrow deadline is 23rd August, so no rush. PM for escrow details. I can accept paypal or stars.

To sign up, respond to your invite. Invites have been sent to the email address you used for last year's league. If you dont have access to that address or you want to use a different one then PM me and i'll send you a manual invite.

By participating you are expected to adhere to the soccerball posters play fantasy eggball code of honour - even if your team sucks you are still expected to set your lineup each week and to try to win all your games. If someone vanishes half way through I will set their lineup by using average yahoo rankings.

How long did the auction take last time? 90 minutes feels like it might be cutting it slightly fine

Baids said something about speeding the clock up significantly because it was a bit silly last time.

last time it took just over 2 hrs with a 30 second bid clock (reset to 5s if a bid made within 5s) and 60 second nomination clock.

this time we have a 10 second bid clock (reset to 5s) and 30s nomination.

yahoo estimates it'll take 90 mins per draft, but that includes 10 or so mins at the end where most teams have spent all their money and the three people left have $18 between them and are fighting for marques colston.

if it does overrun then i have the option to pause the second auction until everyone is ready, but i dont expect to have to do that.

Any chance of getting the derper league into present day time and maybe just MAYBE going .5 ppr???

0.5 ppr seems a decent compromise to get non-ppr players feet wet w/ ppr. Also the best format for elite fantasy eggballing imo

I should also add I have no idea who auction works as I've never done one, so I'll be learning on the fly
