I'm trying Oulala for the first time now. Two things that i find rather absurd:
1. You can't see your opponent's teams unless they allow you to.
2. You can't see what your player's score is made up of.

They have potential though but they would need to remove the live substititution feature to succeed. I know they want to be unique but it's just too much.

Have a look at this games as well and they are all based in Europe. Oulala is okay, but they seem more focused in promoting their games as a B2B platform. I used to play in Oulala when it was just a free site to play with prizes. I have not bothered much since they became a pay to play DFS site, the prize pools are way too micro and other sites appeal more.

I wouldnt play on FantasyBet if you ever want to see your money again.

I have been trying to get my money off that site since October. First withdrawal requests are rejected because they need me to upload my ID despite the fact I had already done this. I resubmit ID and eventually it is verified. Withdraw again, money disappears from FanatsyBet account and I receive nothing from them. I wait a while then contact support:

"Your withdrawal has been checked out of our system. I will check with payment processing and get back to you. The money should have been in your account by now.

Best Regards,

Stian
www.FantasyBet.com"

November 17th:

"There was an error with processing your payout. Our payment processing team has cleared the request and the funds are now back in your account. I need you to make another request for withdrawal to start processing a new payout. Respond to this email when you have made the withdrawal and I will sort out the withdrawal immediately. The money should then be in your account in 2-3 days.

I am very sorrry for the inconveniance.

All the best,

Stian
www.FantasyBet.com"

I repsond to email and make withdrawal request AGAIN. Money leaves FnatasyBet account and I receive nothing.

December 1st

"I have now checled out your withdrawal and the money should be on its way.

Best Regards,

Stian
www.FantasyBet.com"

December 17th:

"I'm very sorry to hear you have not received the payment, and I agree that the wait is not acceptable. The status of the payment is that it has gone through, so we will have to do some investigation to find out why you haven't received your funds.

Best Regards,

Viktor

^My advice to people is not to play on FantasyBet and I want to make people aware of my experiences so others dont have to go through this. There is still a zero balance showing in my FantasyBet account and I have received no money from them. I am now at the stage where I have to contact the UK Gambling Commission to get my money back.

Hope this sorted out for you soon. Not a nice experience and had my shares of withdrawal issues from a few platforms. I do not play as much volume there, so have not made any withdrawal requests. They do have e-wallet option in Skrill and Netelller, that should not take more than a day or two to process a withdrawal.

Agreed in not on playing sites that have issues in processing withdrawals in a timely and professional manner. Thanks for the heads up on this.

First off, thenks to all participants in this thread which help me found verry valuable ressources .

I m having some kind of a debate on some french forum about a contest on a french site that claim to charge 25% rake . This seems to hold true only some of the time, depending on the numbers of entrants and the garantee, but when they go over the garantee after rakes it seems to me that in reality they are charging 33%.

here is an example where they went over the garante after full rake (2000€), https://gyazo.com/bd0caec82c9262054a9bf1c2d8d9ba83
in case you don t want to click on the link: Buy in: 2€ / number of entrants: 1728 / Prizepool: 2592€

Soo who is right ?? 25% or 33% rake in this case ??

THANKS!

Just looked and that really is a long time, Saramek said on twitter that the UK office had to let a lot of people go, guess that's the reason why.

Just to update, I still havent had my money returned from FantasyBet. Here is some info and links other might find useful if you go through the same thing.

The latest email from them said the withdrawal hadnt gone through because today is a bank holiday - despite the fact I made the withdrawal in October, lol what a joke of a company.

I found a page on the UK Gambling Commission website about how to: Complain to a gambling business

Which details that first step is obviously to "complain directly to the gambling business first of all."

Which I have done for months.

Then:

"
  • If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you have the option to take your complaint to an alternative dispute resolution body (ADR). You will not have to pay to use the ADR.
  • You can use the ADR that is named in the complaints procedure, or you can ask them to tell you the ADR’s contact details. You must have gone through the gambling businesses own complaints process before you go to the ADR.
"

I emailed FantasyBet and asked them to provide their ADR and guess what I got no response, must have been 10 days ago. I managed to scan through the Fantasy Bet website and I found their ADR listed somewhere in the complaints bit which turns out to be IBAS, Idenpendant Betting Adjudication Service.

I have filed my complaint through IBAS and have included all the emails so hopefully this saga comes to an end soon.

when I contacted mondogoal's ADR in november, I got an acknowledgement like 2 weeks afterwards, haven't heard from them since. I hope IBAS is better. Good luck.

Really sorry to hear that, it's an awful situation to be in. I tried a withdrawal of £60 last night just to see what would happen and it has gone into my Skrill account this morning. Not sure if they have processed mine just because it is a small amount, are you trying to withdraw a lot more than that?

My suggestion is get on twitter, discuss it with them openly rather than on DM and hopefully it will shame them into both discussing the matter and giving you the money back quickly. They can't afford people to get the jitters and start taking more money out. Other people will chime in on your tweets as well to try to put pressure on them. I hope you get it sorted quickly.

On a separate note has everybody now been paid by Mondogoal?

All our users get paid, always. We have never failed to pay a user who has supplied proof of ID, and typically the money is in the user's account within a few working days.

In the last few weeks we have paid out thousands of pounds promptly.

Unfortunately sometimes there are problems and this is one of those occasions. It has been a frustrating problem for us since our credit card payment service provider has been slow with supplying necessary information so we could get to the bottom of this issue. The main blame is still with us though, for not communicating clearly enough.

We have sent an email with a solution, and are looking forward to getting this resolved

I'm obviously not privvy to the background to this issue but whatever the situation I think it's good that you have posted on here and fronted up the problem. Issues like this are always frustrating but they move to another level when there is no communication either. Hopefully things will be sorted quickly now.

^Yeah well that isnt true is it as I have proved here so no need to lie.

After complaining to IBAS, I have received an email and a voicemail from the CEO of Viral Technology. The voicemail is completely mumbled and I cannot make out a word the guy is saying.

Email:

"It has come to my attention that you have a complaint with one of our licensed partners Fantasybet.com.
I have looked into the issue for you.
We take complaints very seriously, and normally complaints don’t take many days to resolve.

Here is what has happened. (find solution in the end).
You made 1 deposits with a mastercard: MAST:******** on the 11th February of 2016.

You requested 2 withdrawals, one on the 30th of October, and one on the 1st December.

Both these withdrawals failed, and only got to our attention on the 9th of January from our credit card payment service provider (they were listed as confirmed from our end, all the time since last request).
This amount have been added to your account now £******.

Normally, we can process withdrawals to Mastercards, but due to different banks, acting in different ways when it comes to refunding Mastercard withdrawals, they can fail. And this happened in your case.

Looking at the kyc of your account, we are seeing you uploaded front and back of VISA: ******.
This card was never used to deposit, so we need to receive front and back of MAST: *****. (this you can easily upload when you login to the site).

My suggested solution to the current problem:
Upload front and back of your credit card MAST: ***** (this is a requirement to process any withdrawal)

Make a min deposit of £10 gbp using your VISA *****. Then you can request a withdrawal back to this card instead.

Or you request a bank transfer of the current amount. We will require front and back of the MAST:***** to process it either way since we are missing this in our records.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me directly for any further questions you might have. We are here to solve your problems.

Best regards,"

My reply:

Hi Daniel,

"We take complaints very seriously, and normally complaints don’t take many days to resolve."

Obviously your company FantasyBet dont take complaints very seriously as I have been complaining and trying to withdraw my money since October. The only reason you are taking action now is because I have complained to your ADR via IBAS. Not only do you not take complaints seriously they take MONTHS to resolve. Rest assured my complaint is already going further to the UK Gambling Commission whether this is resolved or not.

At no point was I asked to upload a scan of the payment card. The email says:

"Hi,

Before we can process your withdrawal request, we are required by the authorities to make an identity check. Therefore, I would need you to provide proof of ID (passport, driving license or other valid ID).

From the “documents” tab on your profile on https://www.fantasybet.com/account/profile, you can easily upload the necessary documents to verify your account.

All four edges must be visible, and also note that the maximum file size is 1 MB. When this is uploaded, we will then process your withdrawal.

Should you have failed to upload the necessary document within 5 days from withdrawing, your request will be cancelled and your funds returned to your FantasyBet e-wallet.

Feel free to send us an email as soon as you have uploaded the documents to ensure swift handling of your withdrawal.

Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Best regards,
The FantasyBet Support team"

Question:
Can you point me to the line that asks for a scan of the payment card? It is an identity check and asks me to provide proof of ID. Which I did several times, so dont make up lies that the withdrawal has been held up because you didnt have something that you have never asked for in the months this saga has been going on.

Next Mr Eriksson you are stating that:

"My suggested solution to the current problem:
Upload front and back of your credit card MAST: ****** (this is a requirement to process any withdrawal)"

If having a scan of the front and back of the card is a requirement to process any withdrawal and you didnt have that. How were you able to try and make the withdrawals previously as you stated:

"You requested 2 withdrawals, one on the 30th of October, and one on the 1st December.

Both these withdrawals failed, and only got to our attention on the 9th of January from our credit card payment service provider (they were listed as confirmed from our end, all the time since last request).
This amount have been added to your account now £******."

Question: How and why were you able to make to make withdrawal attempts previously but now all of a sudden you require a scan of the payment card.

Please answer my questions Mr Eriksson.

I look forward to your reply.

Hey, it is more than £60 but it is not a huge amount of money. I feel like an idiot going to these lengths to get the money back but it is more about principle than the amount of money involved when a company tries to steal money from you.

I had no intentions of putting this on 2+2 but I threatened customer service staff months back that I would go public with this if they didnt resolve things and they just didnt care. I play 100NL on PokerStars right now so the amount of time I have wasted trying to get this money back I would have prob made 10x that playing Poker, but again its the principle of the matter.

What is insulting is when the CEO of the head company contacts you after receiving my complaint from IBAS and he then tries to make out that the saga is my fault for not uploading a scan of the payment card - which they never asked for. I uploaded the same image I used for PokerStars which contains my Passport, Driving License and my Bank Card.

They are now trying to come up with excuses to reply to IBAS as to why they held onto the money. The same account they are having so many problems withdrawing the money to is the same one I use for PokerStars and they withdraw money to this account in about 20 minutes no problems with Stars withdrawals ever.

People play on DraftKings and FanDuel for a reason because of the security and the professional way the company is run. When it comes to these smaller sites people dont play there or trust them for a reason and this whole experience is exactly why.

It just isnt worth it.
