Kinda sucks that nobody talks about DFS here but I guess hockey doesn't have much interest outside of Canada. Will def try dobber but rotogrinder is great for injury updates and sleeper picks at times.

No, I don't do DFS. I'm just in big money yearly leagues with writers from other sites, like CBS, Rotowire, and HockeyBuzz. Plus, in addition to playing fantasy hockey and writing a weekly 2000 word column, I also have a full time job and family. But I think maybe next year I'll start to dabble in DFS. Oh yeah - and when I can I try to play poker, but that's usually the one to be pushed aside, sadly.

FWIW, Dobber's readers and forum contributors do skew heavily Canadian. I'd say ballpark at least 80%.

What happens with the postponed game last night? I had canes players. Can't find anything about DKs policy.

I read on RG some people got reimbursed tickets after complaining to support. You could try that.

Interesting Thursday slate with no big favorites, should be very juicy

I really hope they increase the prize pools during big slates. Regardless of 2 game slate or 12 game slate, it seems to be always 30-35k on FD and 30k-45k on DK. Kinda sucks that hockey doesn't generate much interest.

As I said, I don't do DFS, but I had to figure that it gets a decent amount of interest once football ends. In the 6 or so weeks after the Super Bowl and before March Madness there's really only pro hoops, no?

I also feel like expansion should only help matters.

Hopefully. I'm sure NFL does have some effect on it but probably minimal. NHL pools are def smaller Friday,Saturday and Sundays due to football so maybe only those pools would increase.

This was a pretty active forum a few years ago until it devolved into basically a bragging and ridiculing forum,nothing positive was gained from partaking in it,unless you were into bragging about your results and ridiculing others.

Wild and Blue Jackets have double digit win streaks and are playing tonight for the last time before they'd meet each other on Saturday. Beyond that, on paper they should both be favored against their opposing teams (Islanders and Jets).

Using my "bet against things falling into place as expected" theory, I'd load up on Isles and Jets players tonight.

Would be fun if they both kept streak going til Saturday. Liking Wilds today but not sure about CBJ. Rangers and Stars stack would be nice today.

Lots of back up goalies playing tonight so should take advantage of that.

No wins for NYI or Winnipeg, but some decent value plays. This is why I still do yearlong....

Huge variance in DFS, thats why people fire like 50+ entries :P
