Not in love with it but it's a starting point
Lineups are going to be v interesting. Why so heavy on TBL I'm curious? No doubt some exposure is good, but x3?

Was only planning on Stamkos/Kucherov and Palat just happened to be the best winger with what I had left. Will probably work one of them out.

Thoughts on Toronto tonight? Was surprised to see them favored.
Thoughts on Kings as well? Their prices are severely depressed.

Dubinsky min-priced... might be hard to fade

Stamkos/Kucherov
Kane/Versteeg
Carter
Gaudreau
Dubinsky
Keith
Josi
Niemi

I kinda like Dubinsky.

Me and nutshot joke about the "their scoring is unpredictable!" trope, but it really is kinda true with CBJ right now. Not because of how they're built (tho that's part of it) but just because I don't really know what their lines will be. Especially their PP unit, which is the whole appeal of the matchup with their good PP and Philly's god awful PK. Picking a CBJ tonight is kinda like throwing a dart.

Not surprised at all to see Leafs favored. They're playing well @ home recently. I kinda expect them to be heavily owned tonight actually.

Re: Kings - the Sabres at home haven't made for as appealing a matchup as it seems lately. Some Kings exposure is prob warranted but I wouldn't go crazy.

Dubinsky is likely back tonight and will prob play with old linemates Atkinson and Calvert. Meanwhile, Hartnell/Gibbons/Foligno got the most ES ice time last game.

Still think Ry-Jo is a good play tonight but prob not the slam dunk it should be.
Interesting thoughts. Have you ever considered doing a podcast?

I was starting to have second thoughts about Johansen but as of now am leaving him in. Might change my mind later, though.

Man I feel like a ton of prices changed, is there any quick way of seeing all the players whose prices changed and by how much? or should I just keep a database of relevant players and take note when their price changes?

Calgary as a team has pretty bad fenwick numbers -- expect their stats to regress.

I like Hartnell for CBJ. PP1 time, and could pick up a pile of PIMs.

LA: Doughty is a good choice. Plays 30 minutes of ice. The game could easily be a blowout, but you don't know where the goals will come from.

Scott Darling is an easy pick for value.

Giroux/Voracek tend to do really well against bad teams.

Toronto 2nd line looks like better value than their 1st line based on their recent play.

Advanced stats say CGY is really bad offensive, and WSH is really good defensively. But, the WSH PK is awful. NYI-MIN is a bad matchup for both teams. Advanced stats love NSH, and hate COL.

SJ is better than their record and GF numbers. Edmonton sucks, but if you ask their fans, "they have points in 4 of their last 5!"

Hockey night in Buffalo. FD:

Gaborik-Versteeg
Kane-Pavelski
Thornton-Ribeiro
Doughty-Josi
Darling

Caps/TB probably the game that's gonna sink me.

If no one is taking your games, then that's a good indication you're doing it right.

IMO time to move up where they respect your raises, lol.

If you play 5$ H2H try anonymous games on the other smaller site

Serious question though! Do you find people join more often if you only post a fewgames at once rather than like 10-20 per level? Do people just fill them up closer to 7 rather than afternoons?

How many games do you play? if you only play 25 H2H 5$. Their is a site that lets you make up to 25 entries per money level…. They make in random and anonymous so they do the matchmaking for you so you are guaranteed to get match ups

Depends on the day. Usually 100 or so games from 1 to 10 BI

as someone who just started and hasn't really done much if any H2H... I would assume I would be more attracted to the people who have fewer entries posted. basic thought process would be the people with more entries = more confident = probably not fish

If you play 100 a day and your game selection strategy is to just throw them all out there in the h2h lobby, well, that seems like a terrible strategy to me.

While you're building your team and surfing you can check the lobby every few minutes and cherry pick for opponents you want to play. You probably wont get to 100 h2h's this way, but check the 3/5/10/20mans and 50/50's as well and 100 is a piece of cake. The only reason I ever posted in baseball was because I started to grab games too late in the day to get to the 250 contest limit.

First NHL start for Kinkaid for the Devils. Went to HS with him. Solid numbers pre-NHL. Still taking some Hawks.

I should add that you can throw out a few h2h's at a time to snag the randoms that never post games. Keeping the the number down is probably good for fishing and prevents getting all 100 scooped.
