Yeah there's no receiver in the draft this year that can replace Cooks for the Patriots. I imagine the Pats tried to get Cooks to take a team friendly deal and he wasn't having it. Cooks with a ton of leverage now with the Rams. Probably signing a huge deal and then The Rams will tag Suh.

I think the Bears will match and they are totally turning their offense around. If they do it speaks well of Meredith's knee. They are taking so long to match because they are probably trying to lock up Meredith on a more team friendly longer deal.

He's the #2 WR on either team. Not sure the Bears aren't better but really i wouldn't be super excited for either destination.

Meh Brees isn't the same Brees but i like Meredith and i could see him being a high end WR3 low end wr2 so right on. I do think the signing is a good indication his knee is good to go. So that's good news.
