Keeper - you keep a determined number of players each year while forfeiting draft picks.

Dynasty - You keep ALL players on your team. The first year is a huge draft, all later years' drafts are smaller since you're pretty much just drafting rookies.

In a Dynasty League you keep your whole team. In a keeper league you only keep a couple players a year and redraft the rest of the players. In Dynasty you only draft the rookies each year.

You do drop a certain amount of players every year if you want to draft some rookies. But we can decide how big we want our rosters to be. Most dynasty leagues have around 1

For instance in my other dynasty league im going to drop 3 players to get 3 rookies that I am looking at. But if there is only 1 rookie or free agent that I want I will just drop 1 of my players and stop drafting. You dont have to draft each year if you dont want to also.

Right now I have the league set to 10 bench spots for the first year. We can add bench spots each year if people want. Yahoo only lets you get a maximum of 20 bench spots. Which should be more than enough if we do end up going with that many.

Ya I figure in this thread as a draft we'd have to do snake. That said it stikes me as an unfair advantage in dynasty to get one of those top picks.

We can take a vote if people want to do an auction or snake once the league is filled. If we did an auction we would probably have to do it on yahoo where as a snake we can do in this thread with.

Any chance we can replace team defenses with IDP, since we could draft defensive rookies as well?

Not to be a biatch, but I probably pass if we go the IDP route.

1) I don't know nearly as much about IDP's outside of the NFC East

I also would like to just stick with team defenses. Dynasty leagues already require alot of studying and researching without IDP. But if you want to play with team defenses I can send you an invite.

i hate to be a debbie downer here, but ive never done an auction draft before. im not ready to do my 1st auction draft on a dynasty league.so this would be a deal breaker for me.

+1 on no IDP

+1 on snake for two reasons

1) I'm an auction noob. I'm not have my second auction ever be a dynasty.

2) It would mean we wouldn't be able to draft in thread. No way we can do a fair auction draft that way. Snake allows us to take our time since 1st year dynasty drafts are very important.

I would rather do a snake draft too. So we will do the snake draft in a thread here on 2+2
