I for one am going to give another site a chance at my business if they have a deposit bonus this year. Have been exclusively playing DK/FD this year

Would love to hear people's playing experience at Aces or Feud if they've been notable

I haven't played either yet but reading around the industry they both seem to be very popular with their players, and I know FF is trying to grow (larger games/lots of overlay in MLB since they found investment capital). I play a lot on Victiv and am very happy there, big bonus, lower rake, and up to 18% RB. Add it all up and I'm paying around 25% of the industry standard (aka fd/dk) rake.

All 3 sites have a first time bonus, and I'd guess they'll all have an NFL reload as well. Other than big GPP's there's probably no reason for a guy playing under say $2K a week (maybe even as high as $5K, I can get down $1K a day on victiv alone for MLB, and NFL is obviously much bigger) to play the big sites over spreading their action around these 3 and maybe a couple others.

FF is awesome

Thanks. being able to put up 1K of good action a day for MLB seems promising for sure

FF and FA both feature 2 QBs too. l'excite

FF also has 2 flex. Their salary range is larger than FD or DKs, which combined with the big roster makes for a very different roster construction experience. A couple of min-priced players moving into starting roles (Alfred Blue a few times last year) opens things up like crazy.

And you can bet they're gonna be pushing out huge NFL contests based on their MLB activity thus far this year.

edit: They also have snakes. Probably can't get in much volume with them, but they're fun to dick around with now and then.

hope so re: FF. I had a glance at the FF and the FF experience seems promising. 2 flexes is crazy and I'd imagine it favors the attentive player over the casual by far

I've been a fixture at the Feud for some time. Their roster make up(extra players) is one of the many reasons I prefer it over the competition. As Prip alluded to, they just got huge funding and their MLB has exploded. It's been a great value for the players. The GPPs overlay every single day and their Qs overlay even harder. Their cash games used to overlay here and there, but now, consistently fill.

On normal slate, I can get in about 1400 worth of games, with about 200 or of that being non-cash games. Unfortunately, a lot of the action is against the same core of guys(Moby, myself, etc.). Like Prip, I expect their NFL to blow up. There will be much bigger prizes and I also expect a decent amount of overlay. Hopefully, we also get a lot of variety in terms of players.

EDIT: I can't believe I forgot to mention their NFL seasonals. It's my favorite game offering in DFS. Basically, it's dfs nfl as you know it, except it's cumulative scoring from start to finish(14 weeks), giving it a seasonal feel with standings, etc. Prizes are awarded to the top score of the week and the winner(s) at the end. You can also customize private leagues and adjust payouts to however you like. Awesome doesn't begin to describe the league and it's not available at any other site. This year, I will again host a private nfl seasonal league at FF. I'm not sure how many we'll have, but lat year we had 11. Hopefully, it'll be even bigger this year!

Yeah the season-long format is awesome. If there's enough interest 2p2 should definitely run one

Interesting. So from a glance it's still salary capped and you build a lineup every week per the norm but the chunk of the prize pool goes to the guy having the highest cumulative total after week 15?

Something I wouldn't mind trying out for funsies

I don't remember the default payouts exactly, but most of the pool is allocated to the weekly winners and only 20 or 30% goes to 1st overall (I think). If we were to set up a 2p2 league we could create custom payouts, though.

Yup! The team with the highest score of the week also wins a set amount of money too. In years past, the overall winner at the end was also placed in the 'seasonal' showdown. For every league that you win, you get one seat. Two winners from the seasonal showdown would then be awarded seats into their NFL Feud of Champions. So yeah, pretty damn good value!

Think I'm gonna start an espn league for the extra million in the millionaire maker. No entry fee, but probably a minimum # of entries and not being in other espn leagues as a requirement.

(would assume both OPs do not mind me posting it here)

In the past we had used DraftDay but likely will be on DraftKings this year according to consensus.

Wow, that's a lot of work. I'm not sure why you guys wouldn't want to play at a site that's specifically set up for such a league, but to each their own. Not to mention, there wouldn't be any issue with paypal or collecting funds, etc.

If you like rake then have at it, it really isn't that much work. Write down 15-20 scores a week and send two payments. And have had zero issues in the last three years paying and receiving. But you are right ....to each their own. But I would love to see this get 20 plus entries. I can say if you have played in this league or a similar format the masses seem to love this format and prefer it over most.

I apologize if I came across in an aggressive manner. To be clear, however, I detest rake. Speaking of which, I posted a thread in this league type, rake-free at a fantasy feud. And yes, I've played this format for 3 years. It's by far, my favorite league type.
