New York State Temp Permit holdup is PGA and NASCAR (imo) New York State Temp Permit holdup is PGA and NASCAR (imo)

It's Thursday now and this weeks NASCAR Race is Saturday night 8:00pm not Sunday yet Salaries are still not posted.

I honestly think its because of the Temporary Permit process in New York and a battle over NASCAR and PGA being Single Events. Watching how NASCAR unfolds is probably a good indicator as to whether or not it is part of the issue/holdup in New York.

Keep in mind this is specific to Draftkings since Fanduel does not and never did offer PGA or NASCAR...

Thoughts?

also NASCAR just had an off weekend so its been 11 days now no salaries and close to within 48 hours of the Race. Getting within 48 hours of the race after a Bye week seems off.

They just wouldn't wait this long to add salaries coming off a NASCAR bye week you wouldn't think

up looks like they finally added salaries

So on another note, fanduel is brain-dead if NY State has no issue with Draftkings running PGA/MMA/NAS and they dont start offering them too. I mean WTF if NY State is permitting them with all them sports etc, what the hell would fanduel be waiting for then.

Unless Nigel is more terrified of prison a little more than jason Robbins ha

Totally disagree, only college sports are banned.Another ''expert'' put his 2 cents in on the PGA and NASCAR matter in a Forbes column yesterday,it was strictly 1 mans opinion. He sounded like a guy who likes to hear himself talk.

ha but obviously fanduel agrees with that opinion since they've never offered any of them. And would have if they felt is wasnt too risky one would think. Especially after last years controversy's when they probably need that extra revenue more than ever now.

That was then though, it is different with NY State getting in the Regulating game issuing Permits. An opinion from an attorney using NY State as the case example I think would hold a lot of weight in fanduels favor saying look, hey, DK offered them sports up until now and they were even Permitted during the process. Good lawyers could do some good lawyering with that.

If DK gets one while offering all of them arguably legal sports youd have to wonder at that point why wouldnt fanduel begin too also. I honestly wish a more liquid site (fanduel) has NAS and MMA, its so tilting its only DK.

Why should DK get all that Market Share

What's the holdup with Fanduels permit if PGA NASCAR don't apply to them? Your post is very Philadelphia Lawyerish wadr.
