It's not as easy as just writing a formula. You'll need to know VBA. I made a workbook for NFL a few years ago, but found fantasycruncher to be much more efficient, so I usually just upload my projections to their site now. Note that excel can be very slow if you give it very many players/combos to do.
In any case, here's a few free resources that might help:
1. Some guy shared a solution on his blog: http://www.quantifan.com/post/131984...mizer-in-excel He also has a fanduel NBA version in excel and a much much better R script.
2. thesportsgeek has a free workbook that you could use. However, it doesn't have NBA. http://www.thesportsgeek.com/lineuptool/ I think you can give a bogus email. Otherwise, he just adds you to his mailing list.
Still it might give you some ideas.
You might also be able to do what you want with the rotogrinders lineup generator tool. I haven't actually used it, but it's free.

Would prefer neither going against Whiteside. But if you must, my research shows Koufus played 25mins and got 16 fpts (DK scoring) last time he started and MIA/SAC played, WCS had 21fpts on 22mins. This game was also with DMC out from a suspension, however Bosh played so maybe you can expect a bit more then that production from either but I wouldn't expect much. Koufus is usually way less popular then WCS, but WCS is way more explosive fpts/min wise. If you're looking for maybe 5X value on a good day from these, otherwise check out some other options.
Didn't play any LUs yesterday or for days, but am wondering how popular was Kobe yesterday? Saw the game and it was a hell of a way for him to go out, was thinking he would play almost his entire last game and ended up put up a 60/4/4, 1 stl, 1 block stat line.
