I don't think it's fair to fault people for being off the board for 18 hours, especially when most of those hours were during normal sleeping hours

Best thing to do is try and get 12 owners (probably not with every co owner) in a chat room over the next few weeks

Also Dan was right, a round a day gets us done before baseball starts, worst case scenario

I agree a chat room drafting session would be a great benefit. If we can pull it off, it would help things alot. If not, its not the end of the world though, the draft will just go really slow

we can lower the clock substantially for later rounds, let's not rush this so we have a bunvh of down time between the draft and the season

a week or two is plenty of time for waivers/trades etc

I agree about chat room drafting being a bad idea. Much more difficult decisions than in a one year redraft. I think we should implement a 12 hour clock instead of the current 24 hour clock, and also just encourage everyone to stay on top of their pick and act as fast as possible.

Is the ESPN default to have 1 C slot for basketball? I know that yahoo default is 2 C slots, as there is an extra G and F slot in addition to the PG, SG and SF, PF slots. Or is there only one C slot because there are 3 until slots instead of 2?

Once we get going I have no problem lowering the clock. Since we started sooner than I thought we would, I wanted to give everyone some time to get strats and lists in order and figure things out before we moved to a quicker clock

dont think moving from 24 to 12 will do much of anything

people prob should just install the 2p2 phone app and get in the habit of checking the draft thread every once in a while

Right now we have a seemingly soft 8 hour pause from 11-7am which is just what I suggested from a sim league I ran a while back for drafts

12-6am is probably about the same

We just need to pm/post deadline times for the next guy

you can obv still pick at any time if its your turn (like the 12pm guy can pick the night before) but this way you know before hand the exact time your pick is coming up and can make sure youre in the thread.

times reset each day instead of rolling

What happens if the 24 hours passes him? I assume the next team is on the clock, but what about the team after that do they go too or do we wait another 24 hours?
