Now: Begin discussion on any rules changes
Before 3/10: All rule changes voted on
Before 3/11: All trades completed in ESPN
Before 3/11: All dues Paid ($250) - Those in line to win NBA or Overall money can use that potential winnings toward payment. If those teams dont win the amount pledged toward fees, they will owe it ASAP
3/11: Baseball draft Begins
3/12: Someones key player gets busted for DUI

Maybe we revisit the rookie draft rules...cut down on time limits maybe? We need to leave time for Dan to adjust all rosters between last player drafted and 1st day of matchups.

Can we vote on adding another hitting spot or two to baseball? Hopefully this is the year people get tired of the incredible unbalance between hitting and pitching and do something about it.

I'm pretty against that seeing as how I've traded most of my bats leaving me barely enough to field a semi-respectable lineup. People make trades and construct their roster based on the current format. I don't have excess OF or other bats like the two of you. This would just create another hole in my lineup.

I tend to side with Drewbacca on this issue. Even with my glut of Bats. Perhaps limiting the amount of starts in a given week or something like that will help balance out the pitching vs hitting.

i vote for expanding roster spots on the offensive side and suggest a 1 year lead in time so everyone has a full year to adjust. this has been a clear problem for years IMO and i dont think "having constructed our rosters onr way" is enough to not fix an error from the past where it was clear we did not know what the impact would be. if we are going to take a long term view (and we should) i highly suggest we make a change with the appropriate lead in time

I'm pretty against any change in format but if we are making one for the sake of balancing the hitters vs pitchers value I think a games started limit each week would be more effective. This is the only league I've been in where there hasn't been some kind of games started or innings pitched limit. If you can only get 10 starts a week(or whatever number) then there is less of a need for so many SP's.

Am I alone in preferring a games started limit versus adding an extra bat to fix the value issue? My thinking is if we have a limited number of starts people will have no need for the Kendall Graveman's and other low end SP's.
