This is why dragging this on in to the season was terrible. It gives late picks way more value than they would normally have. We need to start the draft earlier and have shorter clocks next time around. I'll pick in a second my internet is cancer right now.

I think the biggest issue is that we for some reason dont start a clock until someone is PMed.

We are all adults, everybody is aware that the draft is going on, just make sure to check the forum once a day during the couple days the draft is. Shouldnt be so hard to keep check of what draft spot you are.

Somebody makes a pick, 12h goes, next guy in line should be able to make a pick, instead of like now where people start asking after 12h if X actually got a PM, and then we do 12h clock after the 12h has passed lol.

This is true and I think a good point, but overall this draft just went slower. We started it 2 weeks before the season, which is what we've done for each draft in each sport, there's just been less activity and people taking longer.

Agreed that for NBA and probably MLB too we should start 3 weeks out, seems like no one has a problem being active at the beginning of NFL season
