i'm not sure what the issue is. Is it that you have to drop someone one day in advance to activate someone from the DL because it takes one day for that drop to come into effect?

if you drop someone it doesnt mean the roster spot opens up for that day, it would open the roster spot for the next day. its like if i pick up a player monday i cant play him until tuesday

btw Hurp, I already ****ed up my strategy vs you. forgot I had a claim in for Garza, which wasted an add on a player that is completely useless for me in this matchup. I only have 1 shot at beating you and mediocre SP is not the way lol

im not sure ive seen a sweat go to the last day as much as this one. 7-3 is a little deceptive considering how close most of the categories were going into today

also remember:

- entering our 3rd year, keeper rules are gonna start playing out a lot more now as we get to the steeper penalties. if you have a question about how many years someone has been kept or what their cost would be, just post here. i have a google doc tracking everyone's keepers.

- if youre trading DPs, they need to be balanced. if theyre not, then you'll automatically give up your lowest DP in the deal. but itll be a lot easier if you just put that into the deal and dont leave it up to me. otherwise i just go in chronological order and go to the lowest DP.

Keeper rules:
5 keepers kept, at least 1 hitter and 1 pitcher
Keeper cost: The 1st year a player is kept they cost the round they were drafted in.
2nd year: +1 round earlier
3rd year: +3 rounds earlier
4th year: +6 rounds earlier
5th year: +10 rounds earlier
If you do not have the draft pick to keep that player, you may keep that player for +1 earlier round. If you do not have the earlier draft pick, it takes the next earliest round. For example, John Doe is a 6th rder, but you traded your 6th and 5th pick, John Doe costs you a 4th rder.
You may keep a MAX of 2 players per round.

If you trade for a player, his keeper cost is the round he was drafted in.
If you pick up a player from FA who was drafted, his keeper cost is the round he was drafted in.
If you pick up a player from FA who was NOT drafted, his keeper cost is the last drafting round.
A max of 3 FA's who were not drafted may be kept per year.
Keepers can be kept for a max of 5 years

and here's everyone keepers from this season. if it says 2nd next to them, it was the 2nd year they were kept, meaning they would get the +3 rd to be kept this year. everyone else kept on this list would be +1 rd

Early new year bump!

I gotta get started on the keeper search. my keepers are crap. looking for at least 1 pitcher. Likely need 2. I don't much in great keepers to offer in return but I can offer picks. Doesn't have to be a multi-year keeper gem. Someone reasonably priced for this year is fine with me. PM me!
