even without faab, same day instant transactions for baseball suck because the way yahoo locks players only leaves a very limited time to add FA's throughout each day.
also its a crappy way to play because its just a race to the computer when news breaks.

hurp, if you know what the settings are for it, im all for it, ive played around with yahoo and cant find it. i think it has to do with the fact that yahoos waivers process kind of when they get to it overnight as opposed to espn which you can set an exact time

So I'm at 8.1 IP this week, picked up some scrubs to get me my minimums. Now a combo of starts getting pushed back, another guy on the DL, Amir getting sent down, and me being out of moves for the week, Im going to possibly get a zero for all the pitching cats this week.

Sorry to be the new guy who complains about all the rules, lol, but is MIN IP and a MAX moves necessary? Seems like one or the other would be sufficient. But then again entire pitching staffs (8 SP's in my case) don't usually land on the DL. I think the new 10 day DL is a big reason for this too.

I don't remember how the discussion originally went during the league formation, but the max adds is more of an anti********ing measure and the ip minimum is to keep teams from having a whole staff of relievers.

The DL change seems to have caught the whole fantasy baseball world off-guard. Lots of teams in my leagues are having similar issues as you.

Not sure what the answer is for mid-season changes.

yeah im for re-looking at that as we see what this 10 day DL is doing. maybe we look at adding a roster spot? be interesting to see what rule settings get adjusted cause of this long term. either way, i hope you get the min IP, ill be rooting for your RPs!
